Hey everyone, I'm brand new to the MP line and just ordered G2 Bumblebee as my first MP. I was wondering what everyone's favorites were from the MP line so far, that way I know which ones to keep an eye out for. It doesn't have to be a top 3 or in any particular order, just which ones you find especially nice.

For me, Bumblebee is actually the best masterpiece ever made, with Ultra Magnus being a very close second, if not maybe even tied. I just think these two figures are the best representations of the figure while also having excellent all modes.

I've gotten the following for frame of reference:

Bumblebee
Wheeljack
Optimus Prime
Soundwave
Shockwave (Quakewave)
Grimlock
Sideswipe
Prowl
Silverstreak
Thundercracker
Starscream (Original Mold)

I find all of them quite good but the ones that really stand out for me are:

Shockwave (Quakewave) Its not official but man is it well made and feels solid. This one is my favorite. Before I got this guy Soundwave was my favorite.
Soundwave Very solid and well made figure and all of the cassettes are great with the exception of Ravage.
Optimus Prime Its Prime not much else i can say here other that his trailer is a very nice addition.

The worst figure I have would be Grimlock and I loved him as a kid... He's just too floppy at the hips and doesn't have a solid feel. I find him quite hard to pose so I usually just leave him alone.

My favourites are:

MP Wheeljack

MP Lambor (sideswipe)

MP 10 Optimus Prime

MP Grimlock

I dont own the latest ones (Magnus, Bee) but I do own the older ones, at least one mold of each aside from Soundwave, and I dont find that they are the same caliber. I really feel that the datsun mold's appreciation is based on nostalgia of both the G1 toy or the show and i have none of those. On it's own, it isn't as great a Transforming robot toy due to it's more old school look (which to many might be a huge positive). I am not as fond of the starscream mold as others since I find it awkward in many ways (just check how it poses and it's proportions) and while I am actually a big fan of MP Megatron, it is more for the feat of it's design and that it exists rather than the actual finished result and loathesome transformation. I do really love the robot mode as a toy though even if it has its major flaws.
