10: A plotline involving MECH successfully creating a Transformer of their own; maybe this could be a good intro to Nightbird.
9: More femmes. I really do feel like they are underused.
8: A romance between Jack and Miko don't judge me.
7: The human characters to get new clothing designs.
6: Some original Gestalts.
5: New openings for each season
4: Somewhere down the line the rest of humanity learning about the Transformers and their war.
3: More backstories for the characters, such as what castes they were in and what their lives were like prior to the war.
2: The Autobots using the Decepticon items they have picked up, such as the polarity gauntlet.
1: Three part End of Evangelion-esque series finale.
1: One hell of a series finale.

- The triumphant return of Sludge and Snarl as members of the Dinobots.

- Lugnut making his grand and glorious return to his master's side.

- A plotline involving MECH that results in the creation of their own Transformer.

- The resulting creation of said plotline surviving the episode and developing a personality.

- Predaking.

- Breakdown somehow acquiring a bottle of scrumpy.

- Ratchet taking a more active role. Perhaps with the polarity gauntlet for added Animated goodness.

-A human death in the second season, to solidify the "anyone can die" idea they're trying to shoot for. It doesn't have to be a main character -- it could be a background on, or even a soldier. Bonus points if memory-less Orion Pax sees it and doesn't do care, for dramatic effect.

-Flashbacks involving Cliffjumper, so that we get more of The Rock.

-MECH "failing" to make a Transformer because it doesn't have a Spark, and that Transformer getting killed off. Then raising the moral question of what constitutes a Transformer and whether it was right or wrong. (I think that would actually make a good idea for a plotline)

-Unicron returning in an actual body, just so we can get a toy.

-More character development for Breakdown in particular, possibly culminating with him changing sides. (Preferably during a confrontation with MECH)

-Bumblebee getting an actual voice at some point, even though I doubt it will happen.

-Optimus Prime/Orion Pax getting killed off and turned into a zombie through Dark Energon, then, inevitably, revived.

-Megatron finding a way to turn the Nemesis back into Trypticon

8. Something that isn't a reference.
7. Something that isn't an homage.
6. Something that's not from a past series.
5. Something never been done before.
4. Something unique.
3. Something original.
2. Something creative.
1. Something ingenious.

Seriously, the Aligned continuity is relying too much on the elements of past series to tell its story. It needs to branch out and do things on its own merit alone without trying to piggy-back on the success of past series.

Though, here's another list that might suit this topic better.

10. More development for Miko. Flesh out her character a little more from the just okay archetype she currently is.
9. Terrorcon Skyquake to be freed from the Shadowzone and put to good use.
8. More Ratchet-centric episodes.
7. A Soundwave-centric episode. Develop him some to make him a better character.
6. The backstory of Silas and MECH. How they came to be as they are now and why that is.
5. Jack to take command of the Autobots while Optimus is Orion (with Ratchet as an advisor).
4. The Key to Vector Sigma to NOT be the MacGuffin that restores Optimus's memories. Let it have some other, more mysterious and deeper purpose than the obvious.
3. The backstory of how Team Prime first got to Earth.
2. Optimus to stop being so BORING a character! Make Orion Pax able to see for himself how wicked the Decepticons are and willingly rejoin the Autobots on his own volition, without the need of his memories being restored to do so. In fact, have his memories NOT be restored and instead have him work on his own to grow and develop back into being the hero he once... only this time becoming an even better hero than he was by now being able to show EMOTION!
1. MAKE THIS SHOW MORE EXCELLENT!!! Honestly, enough with the Grimdark stuff already! We need more liveliness to this show as well as gravitas! Sincerity, heart, ingenuity, FUN, high spirits, depth, emotion, ALL of this needs to be put into this show more to make it great! It's trying too hard to be both serious and for kids, being unable to decide which it wants to be. The silly moments come off as being weird and the serious moments are too uber serious. A much better balance and focus needs to be put into this to make it more worthwhile. And the silly moments need to be better written and not treat the audience like dummies. There is so much potential for this show to be amazing, but it's barely rising towards sea level, as though it's afraid to go above and beyond normality to be more than it can be. And give it a new theme song. One with LYRICS! The current one's too mellow. And kick off a coherent arc-based story plot already!

I doubt the show will go that deep into this, snce Exodus already did and Hasbro pretty much expects whoever are curious of this to go read the book for themselves.

Unicron's gotta stay down there in order for Earth to survive. As of now, he is permanently linked to the Earth's existence.

So far as we know, anyway. There could be a way to fix things so that Unicron doesn't have to stay down there in order for Earth to stick around. I think they'd probably do that just because it would be hard to believe that they'd keep the ultimate evil sealed inside Earth forever... or would they?

I feel like it's almost kind of inevitable for Optimus to get killed off at this point, though I can see them doing it without him coming back. Something tells me that the rule about characters staying dead might get bent a little in Prime's case. They might change their statements about character death as the show progresses for all we know, though it does seem that they'll stick to it the best they can.

Earth and everything on it is a small price to pay to see a planet-sized fight to the death between those 2. Yes, I understand it will never happen. But, to answer the OP, I still would like to see it.

Lets see transformers prime, Just defeated unicron (Even if temporary) Talked about the 13, Optimus lost his memory's??? Seems like time for a Prime quest. I would love to see the Autobots and Cons race to find the artifacts of Prime's. Maybe starscream stealing the corpses to build a ultimate warrior. Just a idea.

It was only the start of their journey. They could happen upon more of them in the proceeding novels.

Though, I don't think it would be a good idea fro them to find ALL of them. A few would be good enough, but finding all of them could lead to overkill.

1. MECH's Project Chimeraresulting in their own Headmasters,and perhaps evn in the creation of Nemesis Prime.

2.MECH becoming the Big Bad of Season 2 ,and serving a rather large slice of humble pie to Megatron. Which would teach him to stop underestimating humanity, which would be nice in the wake of his ragging on Breakdown for being captured by the organization.

3. The war between Autobots and Decepticons becoming public, and the resultant fallout.

4. Grimlock and the Dinobots showinng up, and in the wake of Optimus's switching sides, horns himself into taking leadership of the Autobots. And learns the heavy weight it can be.

5. Perceptor showing up ,and giving Rachet a run for his money in the science department.

6. The Synthetic Energon turns out it ends up being what could fix Trypticon/The Nemesis' condition.

7. The Fallen/Megatronis showing up with the brief awakening of Unicron.

8.Unicron's prescence in the Earth, his Dark Energon is discovered to have created other things over the billion or so years. Like the creation of the other Evil That Lies Within, the INHUMANOIDS. Who inevitably put in an appearance.

9. Learn about other Autobot factions throughout the galaxy, and even show somekind teleconference between them. A good way to put some cameos to whomever the fans would like.

10. A trip to Cybertron.
