I haven't got many ROTF toys (about 10) but the Movieverse in general takes up a large part of my display. My childhood G1 collection is larger but not by much I think! Movie probably accounts for about a fifth of my figure count.

Umm the ROTF line ignited me on a spree for transformers again.. got like 20 of them and yea I got 1 whole section dedicated to them. And its Autobots Vs the Decepticons. I splited the middle for more awesomeness.

Re: toy displays
I use the "DETOLF" display cases from Ikea. A little creative work with a circular saw, and I can siamese two of them together for an all-glass double-width display cabinet. Currently have 3 of those, with a full trunk up in the attic of most of my G1 stuff.
I'm kind of underwhelmed by the new movie stuff, and so have been stocking up on Japanese stuff like Raiden, Overlord, Star Sabre, etc and some of the rare G1s like Roadbuster and Thunderwing. As I run out of space, I send some of the older stuff to the attic (kinda like Dollhouse). I have no more room for more display cases until my wife and I buy a larger house (hopefully in the spring).

I've gotten about 6 ROTF figs so far, with another 2 on the way and plans to get another 3 or 4. I'm not a huge movieverse fan and have only bought the figures that, IMO, fit well enough into my neo-G1 (Classics) line, which takes up two full bookcases in my bedroom.

I was planning to keep it quite conservative with the ROTF line, but I've already bought about 25 figures from the line. Damn sales...

As my collecting habits have matured I have drifted away from buying most movie line toys. In 2007 I started with core characters. They did not last long on the shelf and found a place in storage much quicker than other TF lines in my collection.
From ROTF I bought the Leaders and the HA figures. Ended up with Devastator too, because Long Haul needed friends.
I don't count figures like Bludgeon as movie figures. That's a classic / neo-g1 figure to me.

I am getting too many figures in the movie line. I try to look for other figures in other lines first, but if I have not luck, then I grab a movie deluxe to tide me over. However, it seems like I have really been just buying everything in site whether it is movie line or not. I really can't wait for more Classics/Universe line. That is a great line.

Yeah, me too. I find myself trying to like the movie line, just because I want something new and shiny. But then I buy them and they just sit there until I sell them to make room for something that I really do want, like ROTF Bludgeon.

I bought one of each character that appeared in the first movie. When ROTF came out, I only bought characters that I found interesting. I ended up getting Leader Prime, Soundwave, Ravage, and Devestator. They didn't really beef up my collection that much.

I was quite surprised to discover I have 19 ROTFL toys. They're all mixed together with the 07s so I can't see at a glance how much space they take up. I wanted to buy one of every screen character but I just can't force myself to buy Arcee and Chromia.

Re: toy displays
Making your own storage is really enjoyable. I've done it already, I used bookcases, and glass for covering every case, screws, and LED lights. I will assured that my collection will display presentable.

I only have G1, Classics/Henkie and encore stuff in my glass cabinets and on shelves, but i made enough room for Takaras United line when they come out.. and the movie figure, well i got tired of them and threw them in the closet.

Re: toy displays
I have 12 movie figures (first movie plus ROTF). 2 migrated to classics/universe/generation lines (Bludgeon and Lockdown). 4 leaders in robot mode. Rest were displayed in vehicle mode. Classics/universe/generation line took out most of my space.
