If they make a Generations Arcee, I know just what to do with that sword...

Whoa, hey there guy, Transformers is a family franchise!

Besides, Animated Arcee hasn't been getting any love lately and Generations Blitzwing shares old three face's head swapping gimmick...

Man i was hoping for that optimus prime figure to be at least a deluxe figure and not legends scale. Maybe Hasbro will make a larger scale version or just another optimus prime figure all together. Its not like were not going to get optimus. Orion pax looks great... im definitely getting it considering that its the second orion pax figure made. (if im correct) Im also really excited that they made a figure for the new version of megatron. When i first saw the illustration for the IDW comics i was blown away with his new look. He looks even more bad ass now. Definite buy. These are just the first figures they showed to come... its going to be a great future for transformers figures. I feel like well all be blown away with what's in store for us. And the new masterpiece figures haven't been revealed yet! I know they're not hasbro or related to the toyfair, but they need to release masterpiece figures for every g1 character. (thats doable at least) in the next couple of years.

and if anyone can fill me in why does blitzwing have two faces?

That's a nod to his Animated incarnation of 2008. That Blitzwing had a split personality thanks to his Triple Changer status: a "cold" face with a monocle, associated with his jet mode, a "hothead" face associated with his tank mode (and acts like Ahnuld the Governator) and a "wacky" face who is completely random and speaks in non sequiturs.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

He may have three, actually. It appears to be a small homage to Animated Blitzwing. It remains to be seen if he has a "Crazy" face.

I'm somewhat disappointed that the Prime teaser we saw with the Rollar gun os a legends, not a voyager. And I like how Megs looks, but I wish he was also a Voyager instead of a deluxe. GOD, I guess I just care too much about scale.

I agree. There's nothing wrong about caring about scale. I feel you completely on Megatron. You can do a lot more with voyager figures. But it still looks bad ass IMO. I dig the darker look for Megatron.

Both  They're not the first to include comics however: Universe 2008 Springer vs. Ratbat, Roadbuster vs. Dirge and RtS Battle in Space had comics too.
Besides, the figures with DVD's weren't released in electronics stores, were they? ;)

I'm actually pleasantly shocked at Hasbro's offerings this year. Usually I give them hell for their screwups but man, they seem to be hitting all the right notes. I don't know who they fired and then hired, but they seriously need to keep doing what they're doing on this.

Then again, they did give us Classics 2.0 before the god awful Live Action movies, so this could also be them softening the blow for when TF4 hits

Man, you are terrific. My first thoughts of Springer were that the vehicle modes look bad but the robot mode more than compensates. Now, with your pics, everyhting looks good.
And that friggin' Blitzwing looks amazing.

God I can't wait for these. The Comic Deluxes so far are pretty good, that Megatron is a must get. I'm personally not so much a Trailbreaker fan, and the Trailbreaker I have and love is the G1 figure, who's always been sufficient for me. But I don't know who I'm trying to kid; I'll buy Trailbreaker as soon as I see him as well.

I'm still perplexed at no news of more Dinobots?

I'm just wondering with this new IDW toy series maybe we will get some dinos with the Rage of the Dinobots comic?

Or the FOC/Rage of the Dinobots could fall into the Transformers Prime line.

...I'm still holding out hope. Maybe it will be a SDCC announcement?

Good advice, regardless of venue.

Think we'll actually get both weapons this time or get shafted like we did with Soundwave?

Also, thanks, now I can't unsee that "sword". :BOOM:

Hur hur hur, you said 'shafted'.

These toys are amazing. Hasbro Strikes Back indeed. Pretty much all of these are must-buys for me, except maybe the Legends, since I don't normally buy that size class. Metroplex will be really hard to fit in but I do REALLY want him. Amazing. Best reveals in a long, long time.

It's not the sword that impresses us. It's the fact they heeded our call for a Classics Blitzwing and made it look good is what impresses us. The sword and gun are bonuses.
