At first I thought I was gonna regret buying the original one when I heard of the Armor Topspin repaint but now I'm totally not

. IMO the red doesnt go well with the white...And I think the blue suits the vehicle more than the white.

the next version of a topspin that we see better be an armored human alliance topspin.

It was announced, but I don't believe any pictures were shown. If they were photos must not have been allowed, because they've never shown up on the web. Here a link to the BotCon 2011 coverage where it was announced.

Pictures were shown(hence my belief that this figure is NOT Twintwist, as the picture at Botcon had him blue) and you're correct, photos were not allowed.

Ah! thanks you guys. Savoring my money at the moment. I don't have any wrecker yet because of Leadfoot himself. If he looks bad with the group or just the look in general, that'll be awful. I like what they said in DOTM

I was going to say this was totally Armor Topspin, but then I looked up G1 Twin Twist...

But then I saw that it was Armor Topspin. Now I stand corrected...It still seems like a nice deco, for Topspin's sake. I impatiently wait for the day we FINALLY see Deluxe Leadfoot photos :PRAY:

Topspin (that is out now) is based on Jimmie Johnson's #48 LOWE'S Chevrolet NASCAR Stock Car. As many of you know, paint schemes in NASCAR can alter from week to week based on Sponsor adjustments (a sponsor can sign to be on a car for as few as one race and as many as all season and most teams carry 2-3 primary sponsors that they swap out from week to week). Here is a pic of the primary paint scheme for the LOWE's #48 this year...

Ad here is a pic of The Kobalt tools scheme for this year. Kobalt tools is owned by LOWE'S by the way. The Kobalt scheme is an on-going thing each year and usually is utilized about 4-9 races a season.

The Kobalt scheme is easily the inspiration for the Topspin repaint. The same repaint deal is being used for the Roadbuster AMP Energy Dale Jr Transformer. There is an orange repaint based on a scheme that Dale Jr runs each year. I doubt we'll see a Leadfoot repaint though. The Target scheme is on Juan Pablo Montoya's car most f the year. I have seen TUMS on the hood of his car for a race or 2 with Target still on the sides, but I doubt that scheme or any other will make it on to the toy. Who knows?

Question though. Is there aa confirmation or even a possibility of a Topspin Human Alliance TF? Roadbuster and Leadfoot have Human Alliance counterparts, How about Topspin?
