Guys,just got TF:Tatakai off eBay. :grin:

,but my American PS2 is region-coded. Can someone tell me an easy way to un-region code my ps2? I've heard you can do it with a Gameshark 2,I have one,but I don't know how to do it. Can someone help? :???:

You have to mod your PS2. And if you mod it, you'll never be able to return your PS2 if something goes wrong. It's also illegal.

technically you could rip the iso and run it off of a harddrive...but that i think is all i'm allowed to say on the matter.

It is not illegal,if you do it right. Look,if Gameshark/Action Replay can legally sell the means to do it,it's not illegal. I've already got this option on the Action Replay that changes it for DVDs(it's not a secret illegal function either,it's right in the main menu),but that does not help the game situation. Sorry,if I came off like a jerk there. But,Shadowman is right that modding your ps2 in SOMEWAYS is illegal,but not this particular thing,if once again,is done the right way. Which I think is a bunch of bull anyways,because if YOU buy the damn thing..but,I digress that much is my opinion.

Ah well,forget it then. But,honestly I'm pretty sure there's not as much legal limitation as you're leading me to believe. But,in this day and age maybe there's a new law or something. Whatever.

I suggest you read up on the DMCA.
