Transformers Toy haul thread

City Commander. Awesome. Simply awesome. Toy of the year.
Uni Ironhide, BLUEstreak and Sideswipe. Bluestreak is great, best use of the mould to date and probably still going to be my favourite of the three even when Smokescreen hits. Sideswipe, nice but I've got the same loose door problem that others have reported. It's so loose in comparison to the other side that it almost seems there's something inside the arm missing. I'll take him apart to have a propper fiddle at some stage and see if I can sort out a permenent solution but for the moment I've just folded both doors under the arms rather than to the side as a make do measure. Ironhide is full of fail. I'll probably still pick up the eventual Ratchet retool but I'm really not sold on the mould. The alt looks shoddy because of the mix of painted and clear windows and the many, many breaks in the surface, the head doesn't seem to come up as high as it should, the weapon fitting over the entire hand is silly and the colour of the face is ridiculous (although I'll be fixing that last one). Definately need to pick up the Botcon versions of Ironhide and Ratchet when I'm feeling quite a bit richer, the Towline mould suits them so much better than this.
Henkei Skywarp and Thundercracker. They look great and match up nicely with Henkei Starscream but the Classics Seeker mould may finally be past it. The wings are loose on both, livable with but a bit annoying, and Thundercracker's arm sockets won't hold his launchers at all. The launchers are fine, fit the wings, fit the hands, fit every other version of the mould I've got, the arm sockets are just too bloody big. Tightening the screws on the arms as much as possible hasn't helped so I've blutacked the things in place. If the whole run is like this there's going to be some unhappy campers.
Plus some extras of stuff to sell on. If you're expecting anything from me you'll be getting a PM in the next couple of hours.

I had the same problem with my Henkei Thundercracker. The right wing is extremely loose, and the launchers don't fit into the sockets at all. When I emailed BBTS they offered me a $20 store credit or a replacement TC. I took the credit and applied superglue around the edges of the launchers, which created enough of a barrier to keep them in place. It's too bad I don't know what to do about those loose wings.
For $75, I don't feel like I got my moneys worth.

Hardly any of us that bought him do. I had the same problems as well plus loose feet. The wings are an easy fix though, just one drop of superglue in the hole where it rotates, smaller one with the peg not the rivet, and keep moving it and it will tighten right up. You may need to repeat this though.

I was searching the attic looking for my MG Sazabi kit (found it!) and found a box of TF's I had forgotten about under some boxes of McFarlane and Gundam figures, thinking they had been sold ages ago before I bought this house. Man am I glad they were still around:
G1 Huffer
G1 Cosmos
G1 Laserbeak (may be Diaclone)
G1 Rumble
G1 Blitzwing
G1 Omega Supreme (complete)
G1 Predaking (-Rampage)
G1 Devastator (complete)
G1 Wrek Gar
G1 Kickback
G1 Hotrod
G1 Perceptor
2 Insecticons (large, all plastic Grasshopper and elephant beetle)
BW Optimal Optimus
BM Tankor and Drone
BM Thrust and Drone
BW & BM Silverbolt
BW Tigerhawk
BW Depthcharge
Various and sundry BW and BM deluxe and scout figures, about 20 more in all
Five carded chibi BW era TF keychains (Leo, Big, Galv., TRex Meg, Primal)
More figures I still have to inventory, including a bag full of GoBots. Most of what I've found is complete, and what's not there wouldn't be hard to obtain.
There goes getting any sleep tonight!

Robo-Vision Optimus Prime
Only 25 Euros, which was cheaper than regularly priced Voyagers in regular stores, plus he was an import. My wife urged me to get him, so I did (I'm such a pushover). No regrets, I prefer his lighter color over the darker tones of the regular Voyager.
The reason I waited was because Bart Smit stores have stocked up on Wave 1 Japanese Movie deluxes. As you may have guessed, I was looking for 70's Bumblebee, you know, the one with the translucent windows and missiles. But all I found were Brawls, Wreckages and *tons* of Scorponoks!

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

uni Blaster,
Uni Heavy Load
and Uni Minicon 12 pack.
The up side: Went halves with my mother and that lot's only setting me back £20.
The down side: I only get to open Blaster now as the rest is being put away for Christmas.
