Hey, the only good bug is a dead one....
But spiders are arachnids-- they kill bugs.
...I thought bug was just a broad general term for any kind of creepy-crawly......you know, kinda like how germ is a generalization for both viruses & bacteria......
Insects at the widest. Spiders are more comparable to horseshoe crabs.

It would be wise not to kill the enemy of your enemy.

'Bug' refers specifically to homopterous insects - those with piercing mouthparts.

A spider generally kills 5 insects a day. Just think, if you let it live, more will die than you generally could in a day.

Only if you're in a war against bugs. Then, you're a bad strategist.

Probably not, unless your lizard's a neo-nazi skinhead or something.

In that case I am rather stratigic; I let the spiders fatten-up on bugs before they get munched. Everybody wins!

What would be scarier, going into space and knowing that going outside is instant death, or going deep underwater in a submarine and knowing outside is instant death?

Mainly heights. Can't stand'em.
Oh yeah, sometimes that dark creeps me out too. Sometimes it doesn't. I guess it usually depends on what I've been reading/watching lately.

To me, the only thing that I am afraid of most is dying. Afraid to die young, afraid to die from any illness, afraid to die an old woman even! Death is a subject I don't ever want to talk about, or think.
