There are no immediate plans for the next convention yet, but the Transformations crew does expect that there will be another Transformations in 2008. Please watch http://www.trypticon.nl over the next view day for more pictures and news in regards to today's Transformations
ATTENTION!!!:
During the Transformations convention several item taken from the location without permission. Namely a fullsize standee of Movie Bumblebee and two Magnetic signs that were stuck on an actual yellow VolkWagen Beetle (To resemble G1 Bumblebee) that was parked outside of the theater. These items were on loan from Hasbro NL. Obviously, the crew of the Transformers Convention would like to see these items to be returned. If you have any leads as to where these two items might be, please be so kind as to report the whereabouts or any tips that might lead to their recovery to:

Yeah, the theft of this did put a bit of a downer at the end of a awesome day. We were doubtful we would hit 150 people. Never expected to hit the 200 mark and cross it, and that most of them would stay the entire day! The five of us, we put a lot of time. effort and care into this for the last few months. It was my first as acting part of the crew. I enjoyed the heck out of everything all day. which makes this last note a bit of a slap in the face.Kayevcee wrote:Glad you guys had fun, and I hope the thieving git who made off with your signage gets and attack of conscience and returns it. Some people, eh?

But apart from that, I enjoyed today so much, I'm sure I'm there next year again. Overall, no one complained, except for the almost extreme heat. But we can do little to control the wheather.

That's why I included the attention here as well. In the hopes someone may discover it, before it is sold. These are items the audience can't get. If we want Hasbro's support next year, stuff like this isn't helping.Decepticlone Soundwave wrote:I wish I could've gone......I always beat my self up after not going to a Con......especially BotCon '04, when it was right in my backyard!!! Still, who steals stuff from a convention? No doubt it may or may not end up on ebay........
We were expecting 140, 150 people at the most. Never dreaming we would be breaking the 200 mark.

No, it was a HUUUUGE custom made piece. It was utterly amazing, the pic doesn't do it justice. At one point an actual Blackout toy was placed next to it, and it didn't even reach up past the feet of the custom figure I think

If you don't have to money to buy it, stay away from it! Dutch Transfans are an honest bunch! Get that stuff back to the organisation so we can make sure Hasbro will give their input in future editions!

Yeah, I believe it is about 3 feet tall! The real Voyager class one didn't even reach much higher than the knees of the kitbash! Obviously, that one won the kitbash competition.Hans wrote:No, it was a HUUUUGE custom made piece. It was utterly amazing, the pic doesn't do it justice.
