I regret letting my mom talk me into giving my G1 Transformers (and HE-Man) collection to a friend who was 3 years younger than me (Soundwave, Shockwave, Megatron, Bumblebee, Hoist, Trailbreaker, Thundercracker, Dinobots, Insecticons, Omnibots and many more). His mom promptly sold them in a garage sale 18 months later.

He and I are still friends to this day and he's a corporate lawyer now. I'm always telling him he still owes me for that!

I also regret not buying Generations Ultra Magnus and Skywarp at Walmart back when I started collecting again in '07/'08. I hated the Magnus and now Skywarp is the only Generations seeker I'm missing. I havent' found a Skywarp I like since. I'm tempted to get the new MP rerelease, but $200 might be a bit too much for me.

It cost me a few pennies, but that black Lucky Draw Magmatron is finally mine and finally standing in bot mode next to his nemesis, the TRU Japan exclusive Black Big Convoy . The one I got was AFA graded and all that, but the first thing I did when I got him was crack open that acrylic display case, pull him out of his box and combine him into bot mode. I don't sell my toys, so I disregard any concern about depreciating the value by opening him up and displaying him/playing with him. 1 out of only 10 in existence and he is MINE, muahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !
i could not be happier for you! getting something like this is a once (or twice ) in a lifetime chance. gratz!

! I've had quite a few lucky breaks in my collecting. I've already got the ever elusive green Ramulus and blue Optimus Minor so between those and this lucky draw, I've got some of the absolute rarest Beast Wars figures in existence (not counting the 4 or 5 prototypes/test shots I've acquired).

I assume you're referring to the Classics (not Generations) UM and Skywarp, right?

Agreed especially the vehicle mode part.In the words of Peaugh,"Just no."Meh and soo blocky just like Kup.Robot mode was meh.And a tiny gun!?The fan-loved Jazz does not deserve this waste of plastic.He deserves something way better.Thank goodness I gave Jazz to a cousin of mine.
Sideswipe was better,IMHO but still not a good figure.Btw,sideswipe comes with the path blaster,right?

As anyone over here regret of having purchased a GOOD figure? Just because they were expecting more of felt they paid too much?

Sure, that remold is great and the jetpack is awesome. It just that I already own Buster Optimus Prime with his partner from the 2 pack, Takara Jetfire. Yeah, it's odd, but it's possible to regret buying a great toy!

Well,if you have those two,then,yes,DOTM Jetwing is redundant.Hopefully there will be a lot of people wanting yours so the bid prices can increase.

Ugh... It happend to me a rarely because of no cash. Rather, I'm going "meh" on a figure at the time when I see it at retails or I say to myself I'll wait for a sale.

I have very few regrets, most are passing up figures I wanted at affordable prices due to the fact that I just couldn't justify it to myself at the time, only to be kicking myself hours later for letting someone else get it.
Twice I've passed up Henkei Megatron for less than $50. :BOOM:

I might have regretted paying Canadian retail ($59.99) for Leader Jetfire, but when I found mine it was at a Walmart that had him erroneously listed at Voyager pricing ($29.99) I like the toy, but I don't know that I would have liked him at full price.

I saw that Reprolabels has a really cool Macross set for Jetfire and I wish I had picked him up after seeing him on shelves at TRU countless times. :BANG_HEAD:

And as far as AOE Nemesis Prime I wish I had been smart enough to order when BBTS had it for pre-order. I figured it would eventually replenish then catch it...hell was I wrong. :BANG_HEAD:

I plan to get one eventually, priced right of course but that will take some time clearly. :VEHI:

I regret getting Generations Roadbuster. Looked good but just very unimpressed with it in hand. Also regret hunting down "butterfly" Optimus (Dark of the Moon Ultimate Optimus) at the tail end of when it was in stores. The armored no articulation statue mode suuuuucks.

Joining the ranks of those who regret missing out on the classics Skywarp/Ultra Magnus, add to that missing out on the Asia Exclusive seeker 3 pack...

I am still on the hedge on whether or not to regret the effort to complete all iterations of the Armada Side Swipe mold(Side Swipe, Treadshot, Oilslick and Runamuck)...

I regret buying so many figures from the '07 movie line...
I ended up selling them on ebay which helped some. At think at that point I was missing the Classics line so much that I just went crazy.

I also regret buying so many figures from the Animated line. Again, I think I wanted to be collecting to the point where I went way overboard.
Most of those have been sold on ebay as well.
But after this I learned my lesson, and didn't buy anything from FoC, WfC, Prime, etc.
I've been very patient and now am really excited about CW.

I definitely regret not buying MP Rumble and Buzzsaw when I could've... Now it's going to be very difficult to get ahold of them for a decent price.
Which also makes me slightly regret not hunting down a Hasbro MP Soundwave.

As of right now, I'm only getting Decepticons from CW...
Although growing up I was a pretty big fan of Defensor.....
Depending on how soon we get Combaticons, I may cave and get the Unite Warriors version of the Protectobots.

I'd say I regret selling all my G1 Transformers when I was a teenager, but I know they went to someone who put them in good hands. The only regret I can think of is how the chrome-painted pieces used to fade so badly on the G1 products.
