Transformers Attacktix Figures Being Pulled From Shelves?

its a fun game to play. i guess people here bash it because they dont want a fun game to play, just cool toys. which is fine.
but it is fun.
eitherway, im hopeing this is because of a QC issue, seeing as how the cool looking g1 characters havent hi the shelves yet.

That kinda sucks. I still need to get scorponok. Also, the little insert inside said that they made a Galvatron with some kind of carrying case? Anybody ever seen this, or know where to get it?
Anyway, for figures like these, the blind packaging isn't that big of a deal. Even though the game consists of a variety of different characters, considering that they're game pieces moreso than collectible figures, those duplicates are still usable. Getting the same piece again would be about the same as having another pawn to play with in chess. People that think otherwise can fall prey to my insecticon/decepticlone armies. Mwahahahaha!!!

That sucks, but I can see why. Out of 4 or 5 packs I'd buy, I'd only get 1, maybe 2 I didn't have. I like the blind box idea, but not the whole choking the shelves with all the common ones. Hell, one time I bought 4 packs and got 4 Ransacks and 4 Landmines, the most common ones. A friend of mine bought what was left(it was like 5 more packs) and he only got 1 he didn't already have. Maybe instead of getting rid of thwm completely, they should've tried to fix the distribution first.

Hurrah!!
Victory for those of us who regard all non-transforming transformer toys as pointless shite!
Even the movie junk will be better than that crap. Had they intelligently blended WSTF and Craptix then they may have got somewhere but NOOOOOO!! Hasblo and Takara cant talk to each other, can they?

"Bad News" these going away for something maybe better?
I don't see a problem here.
Yeah there were, me and several other people on here I know.
My son also thought they were really awesome toys.
It sucks that Hasbro has to bungle all their good products.
And as far as them not moving, they sell out at the stores around me all the time.
They also sell around where I live, and fast.
They don't do that by me. I was begining to think them permanent fixtures around where I live as they don't move for beans.
They just sit there with 3 inch Titaniums, Cybertron deluxe Prime(?Primal?), and the last repaint of that Alt. Subaru in otherwise empty shelves.
I look forward to finally seeing some new product

Yeah but it's like collecting sports cards. You might get a million no bodies before you get a some body you want.
But it does make it rather annoying.
true but at least cards are easier to store those million crap ones then it is to store small toys

Good, I hate the AttacShitz line anyway. It was really lame and not worth my time or money. Kind of like the current Classics line. Not too impressed with that one either or the Titaniums.
I am just hoping that the movie lines will be worth it all in the end.

I liked the mini games put out by Wizkids. More strategy imho. But it always sucks to have your game shut down on you. Sorry, folks.
As for non-transforming tf's sucking... you should get your hands on the revoltech fig's. Awesome. Besides, when you have them on display, they don't transform on there own, so they better look dam good when your non-fan friends and ladies come by to prevent ribbing and the classic TF 'rooster'-block.

I have every figure for the transformer attacktix, and enjoy the game as it is quick and entertaining. I hope this is only for the movie toys to spot light and not a canceling of the series, as I look forward to the more G1 centered figures.

Me'h...never picked them up and I was never interested in them anyway. Make room for things that will sell better and actually be worth something.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

A game with a greater expense and less strategic depth than Magic: the Gathering, featuring the gimmick of other popular Hasbro characters?
Speaking of which, it's a bit of a disappointment as to how Hasbro seemed to limit the mature content on the cards- compare Survival of the Fittest to anything in the latest set.
Of course, such sentiments are wholly irrelevant to a Transformers forum.

See the funny irony of what you said is...if they get withdrawn and possibly destroyed, then those that are out and about already will become quite valuable. As opposed to great figures that sell hundreds of thousands of. This is the way value is factored on many collectables, rareity. The more uncommon an article is, the better value it will fetch.
I am glad I got mine, their values may very well go up and they'll be worth something

Not saying I don't like them, because I do, but demand also factors in with how valuable these will be, & just from people's reactions in this thread, it's obvious these aren't going to be that sought after.Sunstar wrote:zedman wrote:Me'h...never picked them up and I was never interested in them anyway. That may change if they do get destroyed though. Interest always seems to spike when rareity is involved. Though people don't like/want them now, the opinion may change when a little value is added.

It won't necessarily be transformers collectors that would get them. People collect things for various factors. I mean, I have some pretty ugly pottery that can be sold, now, at a good price. It's sort of ugly-intresting.
This thread cannot be used as a total guage for the general public. As D-340 said, a little money added to their value, and people will be interested. Obtain them, and make money from collectors who want them. rare=desire, desire=value
rare+desire = over inflated prices that appeal to insane collectors and make regular onlookers, like us, raise eyebrows.
As I have said before in threads realting to collections. Many times we have had people in my familie's store and look very surprised at the price of an item. "Wow, we should have not burned that chest, it's worth 500 dollars now..." but in actual fact if they hadn't burned and others hadn't disposed of it, it would not be an uncommon item and have decent price tag.
People in this thread my not like them, but there are others who will, for whatever reason that drives them.
Edit: Demand my not happen for a number of years. I don't expect any of my toys to gain real value until I am rather elderly or long dead.
