And courtesy of user Depthcharge27, we now that Ultimate Class Predaking is now listed online at Target.com, though a quick search bears no actual availability in stores. The figure is also priced at $59.99. Will it be hitting shelves soon?

Yuh I posted that on Saturday in the Florida sightings. Didn't take a pic though. Unrelated to transformers though I took a pic of the original Megazord at TRU complete with the box that is exactly the same as when I was a kid in 94....minus the legacy and metallic paint job, also I don't think it was more than 50 bucks in 94....I got nostalgic what can I say?
back to topic. I see this being a shelf warmer for a long time as well. the whole circle dragon cannon seems stupid, should have stuck with his wings, honestly would have looked better and probably not become a shelf warmer. My opinion though.

I just don't know what Hasbro was thinking with this one...
(If TJ Marshaxx gets these for $20ish, I'd be willing to change my opinion; $60 is insane

Sorry to burst your nostalgia bubble, and in case you didn't actually know, but the legacy Megazord IS NOT the same Megazord from 1994. It's a brand new mold that was originally used in 2010 and is being rereleased for the anniversary. For one it's shorter, the zords are also smaller overall as can be seen with how the legs no longer touch each other at the center, as a new mold the tank mode is different and the arms can come off and be replaced with other compatible zords or vehicles as can the legs. Oh and it doesn't combine with the Dragonzord. There was however, a new Titanus to go with it that was a very hard to find online exclusive that doubled as one of those Ben 10 style hero limb splice things.
Back to transformers though. Am I seeing that correctly, Predaking is priced the same as Optimus? That sucks. Oh and what the deuce with those non transforming figures. For that price there should be a lot more paint on them. They look like those crap toys you get in a pre-made Easter basket from K-Mart.

IT LOOKS AWESOME. If I were a 10 year-old kid, I would be drooling over that thing. It's a big damn robot with spikes and monster truck wheels that turns into a spike truck and it even includes a giant spinning five-dragon-headed firing cannon. It's an awesome toy. The pictures of it at Toy Fair and such had me skeptical, but now that I've seen it, I'll bet kids love it. It's a really cool toy, and I'm bolding that because I think people have forgotten that that's what these are. They are meant as toys for children to enjoy first and foremost, and I think we adult fans have gotten so used to looking at these through the eyes of people familiar with the real world that we forget the power of a child's imagination. The only downside I see is the price, $60 is a lot. I think it should be $40 like the Armada and Energon Optimus Prime toys that I thought were awesome back in the day. It would probably do very well at a $40-$50 price point. I just hope these fly off the shelves come Christmas, because I think kids will love it.
