Lol. That looks like crap. I'm not often one to just flat dismiss repaints, but this doesn't even look like anyone tried.
Burn, don't you or haven't you done some customization in the past? I'm looking at the Megatron version now, and what you're talking about with drilling through the chest does seem like it would be a difficult idea, but I'd be more inclined to listen to someone with some experience in the area than people who just repeat "No" like they're experts. It looks like a Warpath with a chest cannon from this figure would end up parts forming a bit, but from my inexperienced appraisal, it seems like your idea could work.

quite surprised at the inclusion of this guy. Powerglide i can understand... but generations warpath was such a great figure, in fact one of my all time favourites that this seems to be a bit of a wasted opportunity. I liked the idea someone mentioned of a slammer.
My personal prime collection so far in descending order of how great i reckon the toy is -
FE Prime, Silas Breakdown (Powerizer), Dreadwing (Powerizer), FE Bulkhead, Voyager StarScream (Powerizer), Ratchet, Soundwave, Arcee, Voyager Megatron (Powerizer), Wheeljack, Thundertron (Powerizer), Ultra Magnus (Powerizer), Knockout, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee,Airachnid

If there was no effort it would be a badly made red redeco of Megatron with bad paint and no remolds and would still have Megatron's head.
There is some effort they just did not give Warpath a chest cannon and frankly just because it was iconic to Warpath it does not mean it matters honestly it's just a chest cannon plus I always thought the chest cannon was stupid except on WFC Warpath because it was retracted into his body instead of sticking out of his chest like a he was impaled or something.

Yes, the deluxe Generations Warpath is a great figure of the character, but for people who want all the minibots at a smaller scale to coincide with their G1 toy scale and their depiction in the original cartoon, this new Legends Warpath is a bit of a disappointment as the lack of a chest cannon really scales back the fidelity of the "homage." Yes, there is an older "Legend" size Warptah as well from the Unvierse 2008 line, but that figure is now a bit undersized compared to CW Powerglide. Like I said back one page, though, my initial impression was disappointment, but I'm starting to adjust to the change. It's objectively not a bad figure. I'm just going to accept it as a modernized update of G1 Warpath, eschewing the cannon in his chest for an easier to aim arm-mounted option.

im surprised how hard everyone is taking this. i mean, it IS just a legends class figure. what amount of retooling did you expect? maybe just be happy you got a warpath in the tiny scale you wanted.

I went looking and it turns out I don't actually have this mold so I can't give a definite answer.
However I don't see how it could be much of a problem. If there's not enough room for a hole for the gun to plug into, then use earth magnets. They're small and incredibly powerful. And yes, you'd be parts forming. But I've never been opposed to parts forming.
I know using magnets isn't something the big companies would do, but from a customising perspective it could be done, and how many of us now take existing figures and modify them into something they like?

But it is just a bad red repaint of Megatron. A new head doesn't really change that, just like you not liking the chest cannon doesn't make the chest cannon a bad thing. It's a lame attempt at a Warpath.
