This is inclusiveness.
And it wasn't forced, it wasn't in your face, it just was. It seemed normal, natural even.
That's a sign of good writing. Many other shows that are trying to be inclusive could learn a thing or two from this show.

You know what, fully agreed on that.
I am sad there won't be a Cyberverse toy of that character either, he's the only member of the resistance to not get one

Rid15 had the first bot to be deaf and use "cybertronian sign language". Not sure if it felt forced or not, since its been so long since I watched the episode.
What I really came here to talk about however is a subject that I am a sucker for, and that is numbers
But the episode Enemy Line is officially the 1000th overall episode of Transformers in franchise history! No small accomplishment to be sure. Now of course, that does take into account that several of the recent series have restructured to an 10/11 minute format, thus it would take 2 episodes to equal what used to be just one. I have an adjusted number for that as well.
If we calculate all of Cyberverse (season 1-3 as being *done* even though not all episodes have aired in all countries yet).... I am considering RBA Academy S2 as the current running tally.
The most recent episode scheduled for April 25th "My Favorite Rescue" will complete the 934th "full" episode overall
Just a little look back at history:
Episode 1: MTMTE Part 1 (1984)
Episode 100: Headmasters Episode 1 Four Warriors Come out of the Sky (1987)
Episode 200: Victory Episode 23 Struggle at the South Pole (1989)
Episode 300: BWII Episode 26 Enter Lio Junior! (1998)
Episode 400: Car Robots/Rid Episode 22 Gelshark's a Good Guy?/ "Sky-Byte Saves the Day" (2000/2001)
Episode 500: Energon Episode 31 Bulkhead (2005)
*IN Japan there was a special episode later that was supposed to celebrate the 500th episode entitled "Distribution* Which was incorporated to the regular series count when aired on Cartoon Network
Episode 600: Animated Episode 27 Sari, No One's Home (2008)
Episode 700: Rescue Bots Episode 20 Countdown (2012)
Episode 800: Rid15 Episode 5 WWOD (2015)
TRUE Episode 900: Cyberverse 55 Thunderhowl/56 Wild Wild Wheel (2020)
TRUE Episode 1000: TBD
Now of course my numbers are a bit subjective. I grouped them by series, rather than actual air date, which might change the outcomes a bit. But to arrange them all by airdate , especially when you have multiple series going on at the same time, sometimes in multiple countries isn't impossible, its just not an undertaking I've had the time to take on.
Also my numbers may be subjective in that, while I included the Machinima series and Transformers GO!, I did not include things such as :
Go-Bots, Robotmasters, Transformers: Cyber Missions, or Q-Transformers. I also did not include Nezha since information on it seems to be very limited at this time.

That's because Season 3 went and finished airing in the UK before it even started airing in the U.S.shawnmct wrote:I just found a bunch of the episodes in English all the way up to 26.

Also I heard something I never thought I'd hear again.... Quin tessins'. Haven't heard that since the english audio of the Japanese Transformers game for PS2
Then things really got
It may pan out, it may not as this series is famous for leaving huge unexplainable gaps.

That's also how Simon Furman pronounces it, so it might just be a non-American English thing, since Boulder Media is based in Ireland.o.supreme wrote:Also I heard something I never thought I'd hear again.... Quin tessins'. Haven't heard that since the english audio of the Japanese Transformers game for PS2. You think someone on the staff would have seen TF:TM, or the original series season 3...but whatever...
And don't forget that the word "Quintesson" is only spoken once in TFTM and by Kranix's very muffled voice. The cartoon barely aired in the UK, so the comics were the dominant G1 media over there, in which the Quints' name was present in non-audio text form only. Kids over there likely read the word and, not unreasonably, thought it was pronounced like the very similar word "quintessence".
You mean "one huge unexplainable gap", that being the gap between seasons 1 and 2. Everything else gets filled in.o.supreme wrote:It may pan out, it may not as this series is famous for leaving huge unexplainable gaps.
And as for "ripping off" a certain movie, this show did it better since it has none of that movie's pretentiousness forced down our throats and just goes for a fun story about a ragtag band of freedom fighters who are as much misfits with each other as the Beast Wars Maximals were.

The trailer is a mirror of the original Season 3 trailer, which can be found here, but it has removed most the characters who received toys over the past few years and replaced them with their toys. What's interesting to note is that this stop motion version of the trailer includes new toys such as the Ultra Class Rack n' Ruin, but characters like Cheetor still appear as he did originally despite having a toy. Also, the new deluxe class figures are not used, with those characters having their Warrior or Ultra Class figures used instead.
Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below. Also, check out the first 4 episodes of the Season, titled "Battle for Cybertron", which has been uploaded as a feature length single episode below!

This is the proper first episode of Season 3, whereas the previous four were more like the proper finale to Season 2.

Honestly, Rescue Bots Academy is more memorable with more personality, and that's been dumbed down for the younger audience than its predecessor.
Cyberverse seems like s filler line with a filler cartoon. Bang together a dollar-store toyline from the G1 Evergreen designs (they're basically Authentics), and knock out a cartoon where lots of stuff happens yet none of it of any real consequence, handled bizarrely, like the Seekers.
While Season 1 was just okay, Season 2 was really good and Season 3 is balls to the walls amazing!
All the way through to the end.
