Go for Optimus then, it has the best combined mode and the optimus figure is serviceable in both modes.
The smaller ones (skybyte, ratchet and shockwave) are still better toys though even though you may think you are getting less for your money.

he's kinda iffy with the obvious blue spot head in truck mode and his feet end up really fat. Does anyone know which one has a better full range similar to this type of movement?

Picked up spark armor bee. Looks like the rival store next to KidsCoolShop had a very 18% unexpected Tax Free weekend giving me minute a 4400 ISKR deal compared to 4999. So happy i did a last minute check
And the elbows on Ocean Storm elbows are more tight than i thought. But good grief positioning Bees hips and legs to be aligned evenly for standing straight instead of leening to the side is just so!!!
But i know he needs that stiffness beacause of the armor weight.
Still very very good toy and better than my Warrior Class Sting Shot Bumblebee.
(Gosh that one and his shoulder kibble is messy from the rear side.)
Overall 7 out of 10. Good paint applications on the ship and fun armor. Bumblebee kinda has a impression of being shocked that someone stabbed.
This upgrade is undoubtedly a good but expensive purchase in the my Cyberverse collection compared to Warrior Sting Shot Bee

Pictorial Review of Cyberverse Whirl One Step Figure
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
This Whirl is a "one step" toy. I use quotes because while it is as simple in articulation as all one steps, it actually has 4-5 steps depending on how you count it. While the bulk of the transformation is pulling down the cockpit, which slides the entire robot body down, you then have to flip the feet, fold the rotor and bring up the tail to keep the rotor from flailing around. The extra transformation steps make the rotors add a nice design to his back. In helicopter mode, the rotor moves freely, as should always be the case.

The robot mode is nice though. The proportions are about right. He mainly takes inspiration from the Generations toy and I think the design is even better here, especially with the legs. I also think he looks better in helicopter mode than the Generations version did. The biggest change from usual Whirl look is the head sculpt which I find fascinating. It's length is shortened and while it looks slightly smaller than normal, the cyclopean eye is bigger, for the head. So that gives the head an overall chibi (super deformed) aesthetic. He looks pretty cute for a crazed bot.

In robot mode, the left arm has a similar gimmick to the T30 Generations toy where the claw hand can sprout when activated. The two arms are the only parts that are articulated in robot mode.

Overall, when it comes to a one step toy, this is as good as we have gotten so far, since both modes look rather good.

Pictorial review of Cyberverse Bludgeon One Step Figure
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Bludgeon is a fan favourite character and it's not hard to know why; he's a skeleton samurai. And after G1 he's turned into a tank. There are quite a few of his toys out there at different scales and now we have a new one step mold form Cyberverse. How is it? Well it's fine, for a one step toy.
It's the same design, more or less, as the Robots in Disguise version we already got, so the tank is a double cannon one. It looks fine though the arms are visible. he has a sword accessory that can be attached to the top of the tank.

The one step conversion is fun and pretty cool to see. You flip the tank over and as you pull it apart you see it go form the tank's underside into a robot. The head and feet pop out, the shoulders come down and the arms extend out all at once.

The only articulation is the forearms. He can hold the sword in either hand but the left hand can extend outwards to move freely and you can rotate the handheld sword like a helicopter rotor. It's not a great gimmick, but it means that when receded, you can still move the wrist around, making this the first one step with wrist articulation.

The robot mode looks good overall, the proportions are decent but I am not too impressed with the head sculpt, which while still with a skull motif goes more for a simplified robotic look as opposed to a more organic look. However, that is indeed the look he has in the card art so the toys does follow through on it.

Overall, this is as good a one step as Whirl. I prefer its transformation sequence and it's very fun to know that even 3 year olds can now have a decent looking Bludgeon toy in their toy chest. For older collectors, unless you want another Bludgeon for your themed Bludgeon shelf, you are better off getting the RID Warrior figure which is of the same design and a pretty great deluxe figure.

We could've had a nice Siege or Earthrise Whirl & Bludgeon but instead Hasbro gives us this horse ****.

I buy every version of Whirl. One of my all time favorite characters. But this??? I wouldn't even buy this as a dog chew toy. It's that bad!
I was in Walmart the other day looking at Cyberverse Drift & Deadlock. How the **** can anybody actually spend real hard earned money on these? I just cannot believe how cheap & crappy this line is. I just stare in awe & can't believe these are official Hasbro product. The dollar stores sell cheap crappy Chinese KO's that are higher quality than this line.

So you don't even like the look of the new deluxe class figures that come with build a figure Maccadams? Also the figures are fun for those that wish to buy them, and I know several kids who are into them just accept this range isn't for you and move on. No point in saying harsh things over it, it's only a toyline, nothing important.

Some sites have hotlink protection because linking directly to images on a certain site is considered bandwidth theft. Also, "Copy Image Location" will not always give you right address (it has to end in the image filename plus extension), especially if the image on the site opens in a java-script window.

I am not exactly linking tho. I just did what usually i did and works on this site. I upload the pic on "upload attachment" section, click "add the file" button, then after that clicking "put inline" button. This usually works smoothly here.

All 8 Cyberverse Deluxes for Build a Figure Macadam Revealed including Arcee and Thunderhowl
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
We got some pretty big news coming from fellow fan Kenneth Y who had this posted through BWTF.com. Firstly, the first 4 deluxes from the Transformers Cyberverse line are out in Hong Kong. The back of the packaging reveals 2 facts. The first being that it will be indeed 8 toys that are needed to build Maccadam. And the second being the reveal of the other 4. We already knew the first wave would be Bumblebee, Shockwave, Megatron and Optimus, which we can all see in their packaging. Now we know that the second wave will consist of Arcee, Hotrod (who we saw already), Grimlock and a new character called Thunderhowl. This is great news since Transformers cartoons have often been the place for new characters that can grow the franchise and keep it from being stale. Thunderhowl continues that tradition.
From the same fan, we also have images of deluxe Optimus Prime. Now we can see the full range of motion of this figure and that it is indeed on par with the Siege line in terms of detail, complexity and articulation. Meaning that at the $20 price point, the extra build a figure pieces are really just a bonus, as they were meant to be when the concept first started.
You can see all the images below, let us know what you think!

These look pretty decent! I've picked up a few Cyberverse figures for my godkids, mostly Scout class. I want to see what that Arcee figure is going to look like. The pics of Optimus show decent articulation.

Re: Transformers Cyberverse Toyline Discussion Thread
Man I'm not gonna lie, compared to everything else in Cyberverse these looks REALLY good. As in actual, solid, complete and functionnal Transformers figures not too hampered by their gimmicks. They have a nice presentation, decent articulation, look mostly good enough in both modes and are show accurate. There's absolutely nothing wrong with those figures, unlike the early offerings of Cyberverse which always had some issue.
This looks good. If I had watched the show and was interested in it I'd be quite happy. This...really looks good. Like what you'd expect of a TF toyline. Why weren't these made from the get go?

I think its because they initially wanted a clearer seperation of pricepoints and complexity between this G1 based line and the other G1 based generations line.
