Blogger Alfes 2010 has uploaded a gallery of the newly released Japan exclusive Transformers DOTM DD-10 Skywarp. This figure joins Deluxe Starscream and Thundercracker to complete the Seeker trio in the DOTM Deluxe class mold, unfortunately there are no known plans for Hasbro to release this figure domestically. I can guarantee you Skywarp won't be released state-side, at least not individually in mass retail: the Japanese logo is not a sticker, plus the bio features the word "Jetron", the Japanese term for the Seekers, and a word Hasbro would never use.

And this is so tempting... but I already have the RotF Voyager.

I think Hasbro would be missing out on easy money if they don't release this state side, but then again that seems to happen all too often.

Bite me! I don't get excited about many figures, let me have my Skywarp fun.

Anyhoo, looking good for a gangly movieverse figure. Mine is on the way! Waiting for shipping is the hardest part.

Very cool. But the Voyager Seekers from the G1 WalMart exclusives is good enough for me. I would buy them if not for already having a G1 colored movieverse fleet of seekers.

Tempting to get the pre-order in.. but then it's like, trololol already have the Voyager seekers. Looks tight though.

This will be the first time I've completed the trio in the Movie universe. For some reason I really dig this mold.

Hopefully they will sell him over here. I really like the DOTM Seeker mold and having a matching set to display next to the generations ones would be sweet.

Can someone less ignorant than me explain why they print his and other DOTM Japanese figures' bios in such horrific English? Why not just Japanese since this is a Japanese market exclusive? I have Black Arcee from the first movie line, and her bio is the same as her regular U.S. release's, in perfect English. Why the switch?

It has to do with being consistent in packaging. TakaraTomy has decided to actually keep the Hasbro packaging for their main line figures, including the English. To have the TakaraTomy exclusives fit in better, their bios are also in (not so perfect) English. It would look kind of jarring if you see one of two Japanese backing cards in a line full of English, am I right?

Wow, some of you guys are having fun up there...

Anyways, he looks great. But there is one reason Im not ordering him : Starscream's stupid tattoos

If you cant have a matching G1 trio, why bother ??? When walmart put out voyager Skywarp, I went out of my way to buy Target exclusive G1 Starscream to complete the trio. If someone does the same with Starscream this time around, Ill pay a little more for Skywarp on e-bay. But I dont think they will do it.
