Eh...if they used him to bring back the Ultra class figures, maybe....if I can come up with a classics repaint idea I'll grab him but otherwise not happening. Plus I expect just because he is a new mold he may not be easy to find.

I had no idea this item was coming, first I've heard of it.

It's hideous. I foresee him warming pegs with all the Skids or Mudflaps or whichever one that is filling up space at the store local to me.

That weird flail/mace hand is no good - and why the hell is he BRIGHT, nasty green?

If they mimicked G1 colors, I'd probably get him just for that. But THIS? No.

May be just me but : ARGH. I really hate the proportions on this guy. He looks like a TFP starscream wannabe. He's too lengthy, and not in a good way... and the green just dosent fit that plane mode IMO. Is his tail fin his hand? Reminds me of BW megs with the barney puppet hand... At least they concealed his Mechtech in alt mode but it just looks weird as a gun and thanks to the lack of a locking mechanism, we are stuck with him holding a shield.

Maybe its just the green on him but... he's not on my priority list. Hoping for a grey repaint of this with someone else's Mechtech into one of the movie sublines ... maybe then i'll get him

He's...OK...he's not the god DOTM Deluxe figure (I stole that position for Topspin), but he's not horrible.

With the flail arm, the shield, and the crested helm, this guy's got a gladiator vibe to him. I can kind of dig that; but it's not enough to save this figure.

He's too spindly. He'd pull off the gladiator thing a lot better with some beefier limbs.
The gladiator thing is a poor fit with the AWACS alt mode. If he's going to be a soldier, he should have an alt mode appropriate for the front lines. (Or at least somewhere near them.)
Too small as an AWACS plane and too small to be an imposing soldier. Would have worked better as a Voyager. (Might have been able to beef up the limbs a bit, too, in that size class.)
"Air Raid"? Really??? We're going to recycle that one yet again? Not only is it of questionable pertinence to the alt mode, we already have a DOTM Air Raid. Yeah, it's not a US release like this one; so what? At least the other DOTM Air Raid is an homage to the G1 original. This one is just lazy name reuse. Can't an original mold get an original name?
