Wonder how the Ark will work out. It's a playset, with at least a simple "open up like a clam" transformation, has loads of Mech Tech (and supposedly Cyberverse accessory) ports, and looks fairly large.
Legends class is really shaping up lately. Last movie we got Devastator, Jet-Prime, and a bunch of figures that were better than their larger counterparts. This time we're getting at least accessories and a playset (fingers crossed for a Autobot combiner).

Well I wasn't looking at you like you were crazy at least, since I've been trying to convince people this is Sentinel since the listings we saw but almost no one believed me even then.
I also find it disturbing that you can read minds. I have been keeping my guard up ever since you said you will show up at my house, so now I have more of a reason to be worried.

I said that? I know I've threatened to show up at someone's house and..."deal with them" on another forum, but it was because they didn't like Transformers. I don't remember saying that to you...and I'm still looking for that guy.

You did...you praised me for my stance on something in the movie forum that involved an argument with Burn (where is he anyway?) and said you'd show up at my house, then I said don't do that since that's creepy but we could talk through PSN. Which reminds me I never gave you my ID...if you want it.

Yeah. Sentinel + Optimus = EPIC
Megatron + Shockwave = EPIC
Starscream + Silverbolt = EPIC (Why? Because Charlie Adler played Silverbolt back in G1, and now he's playing starscream. I want Charlie Adler to play Silverbolt, not this new piece-a-junk!)

I glad to see I'm not the oddball here. Sentinel and Optimus will look pretty cool displayed together. And of course Megs and Shockwave are buy-on-site.
I'm personally excited to see what Silverbolt will look like. But, to your disappointment maybe, James Avery is already confirmed to portray him in the movie.

I definitely want that Sentinal Prime.

I don't know if this has been covered, but how big is the ARK and what price range? I know the GI Joe The Rise of Cobra PIT is huge for the Joes, how will the ARK compare or is it for Legends/mini-cons/cyberverse? It really doesn't matter, I will get it. I wonder if it comes with an "entombed" Sentinal Prime in the basement like the 1st trailer?

I know James Avery is playing Silverbolt. I wish C. Adler was, though. He was the original potrayer of Silverbolt and he handled the voice well. It's like having Dan Gilvezan potray Optimus Prime. WTH! Peter Cullen should at least be the first in mind, THE ORIGINAL VOICE. That's the way I feel about Silverbolt.

P.S, before anyone comments, I used D. Gilvezan as an EXAMPLE. I know he's not going to ever potray Prime.

The figure looks AMAZING!! (considering most of the DOTM toyline looks "questionable"} However I hate that he's named "Sentinel Prime" (Vector Prime maybe, H@#l, even Alpha Trion). Seriously, if he's a douche/jerk in any way shape or form, I will...(ugh, I can't even come up with a good reasonable insult.)The figure is (optibotimus quote) "gorgeous" though!!

Good point, but I mean to be decently fitting the Leaders that thing would be HUUUUUUUGE, awesome...but HUGE!

Looked a bit cartoony to me at first (probably the bright colours) but it's growing on my now!

Possible spoiler!

My guess is the Decepticons invade and the Autobots try to hold them off for 2 and a half hours, then they learn of what happened during the Moon landing and Optimus Prime is like "Dude why the fudge did nobody tell us there was another Prime on the moon you found years ago until now???"

and they're like "oh no sorry we forgots!" so they go to the moon in the Space shuttle transformer voiced by Will Smith's dad in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air to bring Sentinel Prime back to life and go back to earth in the Ark after he has been swearing and farting like Jetfire probably! Then Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime take on Megatron and give him one final ass whooping and do you think the sword which Sentinel Prime has is that "Energon shock sword" we heard something about a while ago? My guess is that Sentinel Prime dies and Optimus Prime has to use it to finish them off

I have watched all G1, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, and Beast Wars episodes and have never heard of Sentinel Prime. Who is he and where is he from ??? :-?

(If the answer is comics I dont read em)

Looks pretty cool to me. I find it hard to get excited by Sentinel Prime though. He might impress in the movie and that might change my want for a toy of him.

THe answer is... actually more than one. Yes he originated in the comics, but since the there been Sentinel Primes on other media:

TF (original) Universe:

Though his name is Actually Sentinel Maximus, he is a fusion of Primal Prime and Apelinq, so could be considered a Sentinel Prime.

His most recent incarnation however is in the Transformers Animated Cartoon, and corresponding Toy Line:

Though there is no guarantee, this Sentinel Prime will bear any physical or biographical resemblance to any of the prior incarnations.
