Preordered....... I think I'll keep this one as is, though. I like the way Devastator looks by himself, so no CD parts for this one......

I really can't wait for this reissue, and I don't care how much it cost either. I actual have that 'high quality' Devi KO but even that has its flaws.

Pre-ordered. Originals are going on ebay for nearly that price. As much as I like old stuff, having a new one that fits together well is a deal.

Will look really nice next to the TFC version

I'm still shock by the fact that I'm more excited about Encore Devastator than MP10 Prime, LOL :lol:

If only November could come much quicker, he shall join with my other combiner Predaking, Menasor, and Bruticus!

I thought the G1 Devastator mold had been lost/damaged, along with Mirage, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, and the Dinobots.

So where has the Encore mold come from? Now that we have Devastator, does that mean we'll be getting the others reissued to?

This is exactly what I was thinking and am curious about. Although I doubt it'll be much more than minor cosmetic changes in paint and possibly a new face. I have my fingers crossed for e-hobby Diaclone colors, TFCC Shattered Glass Constructicons and more as well.

I only started collecting tfs after the 07 movie... the closest i got to a G1 memory was in the start of 2007 when my local kids TV channel re-aired G1 and i watched the jetfire episode for 5 seconds and saw jetfire flying with spike shouting "Go jetfire". I went "Fk this i hate robots an humans" and turned off the TV :lol:

More like OS, which stands for Omega Supreme. Both Omega Supreme and Sky Lynx were owned by a company other than Takara and Hasbro. Fortunately, it was revealed that Tomy has commissioned these two toys to be made, and with the merger, they became accessible for Takara.

Thanks again milady JZGR. I have this odd habit of calling Omega Supreme OM, that should have been OS :BANG_HEAD:

TomyTakara should take their time this time, not rush the production of Devastar and make sure QC is at least 90% perfect.

I for one would be willing to wait until Christmas if only that QC would be a thing of the past like that of Encore Bruticus :sad:

You'd expect at least, being a well used mold, Bruticus would have been well maintained. (Maybe it was subcontracted to save on costs? Because OS and SL were high QC re-issues. I bend my knees and pray that this isn't G2 Devastator redux (that too had really poopy quality))

I read the review on Encore Bruticus and decided to ditch him on two accounts, QC and no die cast metal :lol:

Encore Omega and Skylynx on the other hand, were great. So if Encore Devastator QC is the same as OS/SL, I'm very happy. Hopefully, there's no modification. I just want it to be like the original.

Don't ditch the fig due to its die-cast content. QC is the weighty factor.

I didn't have ANY QC issues with my Encore Bruticus, nor with my Seacons either actually?
