The vehicle isn't exactly elegant, but it serves insofar as a cybertronian alt-mode doesn't really need more than to be more mobile than a bipedal form.

The skinnier body is a little odd, but you know, they had to make it work. I hope him being a deluxe doesn't throw off the combining. A voyager scale might have served him better in all counts.

Well, as much as WFC Onslaught was super bada** looking, the original G1 figure was a skinny string-bean design, so it works for me. I just hope he's bigger (even if its a little) than the other four.

I can't wait for this, but on the other hand, I can, as long as if it takes a while, they make them really well. Swindle's pictures look great.

You can actually see Bruticus' head in Onslaught's vehicle mode.

Meanwhile, Onslaught's arms desperately try to hide in torso mode. I'm going to assume he's mis-transformed a bit, but still.

Just having the Ultra class Universe Onslaught makes me want to have the thing. That being part of Bruticus makes me want it more!

alt mode must be mistransformed. robot looks ok, but I'm pretty much committed to the purchase anyway. I hope they put out all 8 (Bruticus with Jazz, Prime and Shockwave) as a case, so I can just order that.

I have full intentions of buying this regardless, but if it's not missing parts or mistransformed, it does look to leave a little something to be desired.

Whoa, aside from all the loss of bodily functions that seem to be going on he is alrighty. The alt mode is not so impressive but they could have beefed up his bot mode a bit. Still a good fig none the less now c'mon show us Blast Off and Vortex!! :VEHI:

Yea, the alt mode feels like he needs a trailer or something. Who knows, maybe he'll be able to haul around blast off or vortex or some parts or something.

Okay, looks like I'll be the first to say it but I think both bot and alt modes look like garbage. I'm really hoping alt mode is mis-transformed and it's pretty obvious that the "gun" he's holding is his backpack cannon. It's also not the feet, that's for sure. Swindle & Brawl form their own feet from the looks of the art. I'm sure it'll be a thousand times better when we see some other pics, but for now I don't like it at all. I would go as far as to say I wouldn't buy it if it weren't for him being the torso. That's really saying something for me.

I'd aldo like to point something out that GI said in their story (bought a game mag for the first time in 15 years today so I could gawk at Brawl & Swindle on lunch :lol:

). They mentioned that Jerry Jovin confirmed that the Combaticons are just the first and that there are more figures on the way. Now, this could just mean Prime/Shockwave/Jazz but by the sounds of the interview they will be pushing a lot more figures out - most likely stuff that we'll see at Toy Fair this weekend.

I guess we should keep watching GameInformer for more toys, it also said that they would be showing all of the figures next to the concept art on their website but so far I can't find anything

Seriously hoping the alt mode's been mis-transformed; looks like it's missing a big chunk in the back section.

The connectors on his tires look a little too obvious.

But these aside, this is shaping up to be one kickass combiner!

To anyone who has even the most minor complaints about what we've sen so far regarding this Figure:

Like the individual bot or vehicles modes are going to see the light of day?!? :lol:

I mean, personally, the trend of buying 3rd party products in order to get something Transformer related that it is not a plastic pile of crap may have finally come to an end. I love it. I hope they make more. I love that it will not cost $600! I'm buying 3 of these at least. Make no mistake, these figures won't be warming shelves anywhere.

A side note for those reading, that is 8 confirmed (or atleast HEAVILY RUMORED) fig's for the Gen. Line. Can't say anymore... right now.

Seriously unimpressed. Looks like a glorified PCC Commander and nothing like his in-game self. As a solo figure it's a pass but I'll reserve final judgement for once I've seen pictures of the entire set.

I seem to be in the minority when I say that the individual figures are just as important to me as the combined form. That's why I could never pull the trigger on FansProject's Crossfire-02 set: Brawl, Vortex and Onslaught still looked like crap.
