Hmm, gotta say this is one of the weirder cross-promotional releases they've done. Not my thing, but some of the shirts with the chibi Primes are pretty cool.

G1 Prime is like classic car now. Its something everybody always wants. Besides its not like we get 7 different G1 Primes released in the span of 2 months.
We get a new version a few years apart, so there is enough time for it to recede from our consciousness, so every new version is actually very cool.

Where as Movie BB, we get bombarded with them constantly.

And just for the record, G1 Prime is an awesome figure. Not garbage at all.

Wow! Can't wait to order this one. There's always room for a g1 prime, especially a special edition mold like this. Whereas those movie Bumble Bee molds that keep marching towards us off the Hasbro assembly line are starting to scare me. When the machines really do take over I have a feeling those might all activate and be their first offensive wave.

ok i respect others opinion, for me is garbage, but i can understand somehow why you like this toy, is tied with many good memories
its just that i never liked optimus prime, i thinks thats why i dont like this toy
bumblebee (movie)its not a a bad figure(actually for deluxe, there are at leas 8 different molds), its just that hasbro have been repainting him thousand times, and people got sick of it, but some of his molds would be awesome in other colors and characters like, prowl, jazz, ricochet, smokescreen, silverstrea, bluestreak, because of its transformation(actually just the original 2008 concept camaro bumblebee, the battle blades and the dotm mechtech, others are indeed garbage XD)

Something puzzles me. "We can't re-issue 'toy X' because the moulds are worn out and reverse engineering new moulds is too expensive", so how can they constantly re-issue the G1 Convoy/Prime/Magnus truck cab and trailer?

They know people will keep wanting this figure, so they keep the mold maintained or something.

The scenario you're referring to applies more to when molds are flat out lost or destroyed rather than worn. This is why we've gotten no reissues of Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, the Dinobots, etc. Because the molds for those are gone and gone.

The tee shirts show G1 prime next to Green prime and one tee shirt says Optic Primate, this could be his name, both being "OP" names? Or am I reading too much into this! Sort of like was Exile X convoy differnt to G1 prime!

Those pictures are pretty terrible for showing off the figure. Realizing this, My want for this is unshaken. Though really, if you want to be one of the first to show something off, turn on some lights or something. I'd like to see better pics pop up soonish.
