i may unscrew that circle part attached to truck and trailer to make truck mode detach from trailer in vehicale mode it serves no pouopse what i see in video
There is a "Mute" button on YouTube, and he explains that he has a sore throat, sheesh, why so critical?
Anyway, the hollowness/slotted plastic is completely un-acceptable, the lack of painted wheels cheapens the thing further and no "White Knighting" for Hasbro's miserly/ugly economizations will ever change my mind. Raise the price already, to cover the cost of plastic, and fill up the gaps already. Raise the price & be done with it! And while you're at it Hasbro, improve the quality and satisfy the customers loyal to your franchise for over 30 years.
I've stated elsewhere that I appreciate the Designer's work to integrate G1 into these new figures, and that I enjoy them, but Hasbro's penchant for pinching every penny has to have a limit or the future of the toy-line will resemble something that comes out of a Cracker-Jack box!

...Hmm. Well, using thin, slotted, minimally painted figures is a tactic to save money while prices and profits for Hasbro have increased, and quality has been reduced...That looks like GREED to me, which is a type of EVIL, yes I suppose you are quite correct. Transformers are EVIL!

You mean Hasbro isn't a charity dedicated to delivering toys to rich adults and fans who don't have a concept of economics are upset because capitalism is "oppressing" them? That's absolutely right. Also evil doesn't exist my greedy friend.

i think as long as they keep putting some detail where the hollow areas are its fine plus that detail gives it some rigidity, we have been blessed with some amazing tributes to old characters and they just keep coming, sure we have no more rubber tires or diecast metal pieces but they are also not bricks and look like they came right out of a cartoon or comic, let those ungrateful whiners complain they fall on deaf ears anyway

I wonder how they would be able to pull it off?
One thing is sure. A retool of UM into God Ginrai will never have the playability and all the modes of the original.
...
I'd still buy it though.

I don't CARE about the hollow parts on UM, I am mostly concerned about the crotch piece scraping on the ground, (sounds painful), but it is probably not a big deal. When UM starts circulating, and more people start to get it and review it, someone will probably find something in the transformation that fixes this problem.

I don't know. Have you seen the pictures of the new Hook? And I seem to remember several other recent Hasbro figures with parts interfering with the rolling action due to dragging. I'll look into it on UM, hopefully, tomorrow.

Please do! I am curious! Hasbro keeps on having a habit of leaving steps out of the instructions!

Yah! Hollow parts have been implemented in the past. God Ginrai/PM Optimus Prime ring a bell? Though wishing it be done in a not so obvious manner.

Yeah always been hollow figs once in a while.
And for the young'uns....remember G1 Onslaught's double barrel canon? In the 1985 version, both had hollow barrels. The recent Encore had it fixed. So it depends on the cost but TT can fix the hollow parts if they want to.

Also don't see the big deal in some newer Transformers toys having hollow parts.
