Yeah ... this was never a Jetfire mold. This is a Seeker mold. Standing next to MP Thundercracker just makes CWL Thundercracker all the more sexier.

Don't get me wrong, MP Thundercracker is a great representation of his original look, but that was then, this is now, and CWL Thundercracker is a fantastic representation of a modern up-to-date 21st century look.

My thundercracker from HTS came in today and I must say that he's pretty great. I think he wears the mold better than Jetfire honestly, and I wasn't totally sold on the face sculpt in pictures but in hand it really is quite nice.

I'll second that. I'm kicking myself for not picking up a few repaints that I was on the fence about now that I've seen after market prices. It seems I never want anything as bad as when I can't have it.

You'd be happy to hear then that someone has found skywarp on a computer. But since there was never photo evidence, the rumour doesnt hold much water.

Also, I do have a question about this mold being great for seekers. The one part that throws me off is the wings in robot mode. I am used to one set of wings extending out his sides on the back. But with this mold, the wings are more of a canopy that keep going upwards past his shoulders. I didnt mind that for Jetfire but for the seekers, it looks a bit off. Granted, I only saw that when I compared it to the MP. How do you feel about the new wing arrangement? And you dont miss the vents on the side of his head?

The vents on the sides of the head defining traits of the seeker head, I was kinda sad when I saw they weren't there.

Seeing the modern Leader CW TC next to the MP is quite a comparison. Sure, CW is built cheaply, but the overall bot is BIGGER and beefier! And for 1/3 or 1/4 of the price of a Japanese MP!
I don't think I'll buy TC, but you are sure I'll be buying starscream!

I know we tend to say the CW bot is built cheaper, but I think he is sturdier and less likely to break. And I also assume he is easier to pose and have stand correctly.

The vents are still there, they're just not as defined. And I would LOVE an Acidstorm repaint.

Masterpiece Thundercracker is the Seeker mold of the 20th century. It's the definitive rendering of his cartoon self.

You can have that look in multiple ways, we have already, Robot Masters, Classics ... it's been done.

Now look at CWL Thundercracker again. Remembering what century you're living in. It's still Thundercracker, but he's better designed, his look is updated, yes it's different but it's a GOOD different.

I LOVE this mold for the Seekers. Jetfire can just with the rest of the so-called CW "outcasts". This is his second chance and he's once again failed.

Again, great gallery, Seibertron! CW Thundercracker is very cool, but I look forward to finally getting a StarScream out of this mold. Since the newer MP is too prohibitively expensive for me, it might be the next best thing. I only hope that they get the coloring just right. I prefer a metallic medium gray and light-blue coloration like his RobotMasters version. The Platinum YOTH Supreme Starscream disappointed me with the cheap-looking, infamous Hasbro-gray, and despite the G1 enhanced color-pallette. He'll also need a well painted gun-metal-silver/gray face, and why not throw in his smirk along with his megalomaniac crown. Come on Hasbro make the Seeker Trio, you know you'll make $$$$!

What is up with that IDW combiner wars "legends" Thundercracker? Is it JP?? It's such a perfect blue, yet mine is super dark metallic blue.
