My optimuses are together, like my Bees, Soundwave, Starscream, Megatrons, ext... So I don't give a rat's ass about scale.
I also don't give a fawk about "perfect" 3p figures. I prefer having originals only and I think Hasbro Leader CW Megatron is his ULTIMATE form. Especially with repros. Why? It's his G1 self with an altmode that actually make sense.
MrBlack wrote:I really don't see the criticism about Leader Megatron having skinny legs. His legs and chest seem to scale pretty well together, particularly compared to his G1 cartoon iteration which had very slim thighs. The real problem for me with the figure is that his arms are too chunky. His shoulders are too large, necessitating those awful red stick connecters, and the whole apparatus both looks silly in some poses and impedes movement.
I really do love the toy. He looks great for the most part, and he has a fun transformation and alt-mode. I don't even mind the cannon. I just really wish they had done a bit more work on his shoulders.

If those connectors were just a darker, and less noticeable color, I would be much more tempted to get Megs.

The color doesn't bother me, I just wish they weren't there at all. He would be nigh perfect with proper shoulders.

Well it's understandable, but I wish they just forgot about the turret rotating gimmick. It would have really improved the figure.

How does the turret screw up the figure? It doesn't inhibit any articulation.

The turret articulation is part of the shoulder issue that was complained about...

Sorry, I'm totally missing something here. Any who, I guess I have more of a positive outlook on megatron. Sure he's not perfect, but damn if he's not a great traditional Megatron in a great size.
