AWESOME. Just saw this myself on BBTS while checking my order. This is cut from the site, so we will have more than enough judging from the case quantities.

This case is to include the following:

Now, how does this release fit in with the supposed Nightbeat Jazz wave? Assuming one believes that is actually a wave and not some fluke.

Furthermore it appears that speculation is this will be the WFC version of Arcee. NICE! Can't wait to put in on my WFC shelf!!

I suspect the girls will be a new mold, as they have built in repaint potential.

Unlike the disappointing news on Nightbeat being just a Jazz repaint.

Although i have been collecting the figures for around 3 years know im still kinda new to all the multiple transformer universes and i have never read a single transformer based comic although growing up i did watch different shows from time to time but i never got into them i guess cause i was always into dark themed family shows and films which is why i love transformers prime to bits
this may sound stupid but in rotf is the alice/female robot thing chromia

The MMC version is based on her original idw body, before the recent body swap into her current form.
So, you remember right!

These listings are pretty interesting, seems like both will be out about the same time the Windblade comic debuts.

I'm pretty excited about this news as long as Arcee is a new mold. I'll buy Chromia too if she's at least a remold, probably not if just a repaint. I really hope Arcee turns into a car this time around!

No, Alice in ROTF is not Chromia. Chromia and her were both even in the movie as separate individuals. Alice is a Decepticon, while Chromia was one of the Autobot Arcee's three components.

I highly doubt they could even use those molds since the Movieverse Arcee molds are all partly owned by Paramount.

As Sabrblade said, no - Alice was just Alice. To provide more background though...

In the original 1980s cartoon, Chromia was an Autobot resistance fighter serving under Alpha Trion, fighting against Shockwave. She was implied to be romantically involved with Ironhide and had a similar alternate mode (some form of van), if I recall correctly. Her appearance in the comics is very similar to that original appearance in the cartoon, and the comic will likely match the toy.

Although Chromia's name was used in connection to the movies a couple of times, both with Autobot motorcycles, it's unlikely either of those forms will inspire this figure.

Edit - I'm going to lay down imaginary money saying they'll be separate molds entirely, which will eventually be retooled into Moonracer (Arcee) and Firestar (Chromia), so we finally have the full set of G1 female Autobots.

While I would LOVE for that to be true (and wouldn't bet imaginary money against you), it would mean we'd still be missing a toy of Elita One in G1 form. And if you want to get technical, we'd still need toys for Greenlight and Lancer, though I could totally see those two being Botcon toys.

3rd party would be the most likely for something such as that and I'm sure it would sell. If they did make an official one, Hasbro would aim it towards the girls aisle instead of the boys.

I wouldn't put it past them, considering we have Angry Birds Transformers coming.
