those look really good but i refuse to pay $16 for them. Well they'll probably be more since they cone with a comic and if i wont pay $16 theres no way in hell im paying over it. Wont pay more than $12 or $13 for a deluxe especially when they're of such low quality.

I'm fairly certain that Hoist not be an exclusive.
And why should it be?
I think some were confused by the fact that it was previewed first in the Collectors' Club magazine even though it was clearly advertised as a 'Generations' figure not an upcoming 'Exclusive' figure or anything.
It will be a retail release and there has been no indication from Hasbro or the Club up to this point to indicate otherwise.
Yes, this was the part where I was confused and guess I didn't get any news update after that. Hooray for retail release.

Yeah, I think one of the perks of the club is supposed to be first looks at some retail bots... but so often they leak before it happens. I was happily surprised they managed to get Hoist through for the club members. Nice surprise... and he looks amazing.

Gotta catch 'em all! Except Hoist. I don't really need that guy.
These look higher-quality than FoC and much of the Prime line so far... Hasbro hasn't charged higher prices for figures with DVDs, so I don't see why they'd charge more for a comic book. They haven't in the past when the Energon toys used to always contain a mini-comic. And besides, even if MSRP is $16, Walmart & Target ALWAYS have sales/rollbacks on TFs. But TF prices can't stay the same forever, the cost of everything goes up. Here in Canada we've been paying $16 for deluxes for many years. I just wait for a sale or pay full price if I want it that bad. Or order from BBTS because it's often cheaper even when I have to pay shipping.

I just preordered Megatron. Thats one nice looking deluxe figure. And its alt mode could maybe pass as a scaled down model stealth plane.

What do you mean "could maybe pass as" a stealth plane? It IS a stealth plane.

Actually, that may only go for the toys. I don't know how the dubbing goes in other countries when it comes to names, if by then they used the US names instead of the localised toy names. The Netherlands had it easy: we stuck with English since day one thanks to our habit of subbing over dubbing.

Trailbreaker was way overdue (since 2003 if you must know, he was planned as an OTFCC exclusive when things already were going downhill with his name), he needs some lovin'

I just prefer Tailbreakercutter's design and color scheme. Since Hoist is not a character I care too much about I'm fine with just having 1 version of the mold. Less backtracking to do too, since I'll have to find a G1 version to go along with it.

Yet, one episode after Megatron's return from his coma, Starscream was going behind his back trying to make his own scheme surpass and undermine Megatron. Then in the cave episode, he was going to leave Megatron to die underground before coming to his senses and deciding to go back for Megatron instead. It wasn't until he had gotten all four Omega Keys that he realized that he was nothing without Megatron.Mindmaster wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, Prime Starscream seems to have learned his lesson and matured out of his childish treachery to Megatron. Recall how in both "Darkest Hour" and "Rebellion" when he Megatron lying on the ground injured in both episodes, he demanded that Megatron be helped up and tended to rather than opting to leave the downed Megatron where he was at the mercy of his own injuries.Mindmaster wrote:If Waspinator is to take on any form of machinery, it's gunna have to be flight-capable. To be fair though, if my leader somehow returned from the dead and continually gave me an ass-whupping, I wouldn't leave him to die and incur his wrath should he return.

I was saying that the Megatron can pass as real model meaning 100% scaled down detailed of a real model stealth plane and I'm sure its not 100% simalar. I wasnt trying to put this good looking figure down without seeing the video review. But it Looks like a good figure and that it almost has a movie figure look to it and thats a real good thing.

I love that we are getting these IDW toys. I'll probably buy the whole lot.
I'm iffy about Bumblebee. It is good that they are trying a different direction with him, but all I see when I look at his head is Drift with little horns.

Well considering the IDW Bee ISN'T the silent robotic-pacifier/kid-Appel character we have been getting sense 2007, " it's good they are trying something new" (or not bayformers).

I was referring to his sportscar/muscle car mode and the fact the only Bumblebees that didn't have these modes were Animated Bumblebee and [War for Cybertron Bumblebee (which later became our "lovable", mute sportscar Prime Bumblebee).
