Um, what? BBTS has $4 flat rate shipping on anything, it is one of their main sales points and shown prominently on their main page.

I don't think a male Transformer has ever raped anyone, so I guess our species is generally behind Cybertronians on the evolutionary curve, at least where prom night is concerned.
You might have missed the fanstoys official promo photos for springer and arcee...
Was that official? I thought Fanstoys said someone had taken the photo without permission. Regardless there should probably be the word officially in there somewhere, else we are counting fan fiction, in which case...well it's not pleasent.

Nice, I'm not going crazy! Had convinced myself I was probably just misremembering what she looked like. Thanks manSabrblade wrote:No no, her deco is a little off.ScottyP wrote:All joking aside I do find her ugly. Don't hit quote and Sunbow me, I know.
The dark purple of her torso ought to be more like the lighter purple of her thighs, fists, and face, while her thighs, fists, and face themselves ought to be white/silver/pale lilac/whatever.
I remember all that and issues getting other figures. Sometimes it's worth the extra money to make sure you get a figure and the FoMonster off your back. Seems like it's a lot easier to get figures since Siege (in the states anyway) or I care lesswilliam-james88 wrote:That's the wiser thing to do if getting it asap is not a priority. I forget, were you around during the CW Groove debacle. While we never knew what happened, that toy was released in decent numbers waaayyyyyyyyyyyy later than anticipated. Robot Kingdom was the first place to have preorders and enough people jumped on it for it to be sold out at that retailer. Many waited for a stateside release, and waited and waited. It being a combiner limb (as this one) gets lots of people antsy since you have an imcomplete combiner staring at you begging you to finish it. Months later, Amazon got a very sporadic release of some and it was like winning the lottery if you were able to get one. prices rose on e-bay and those who had already ordered from Robot Kingdom and had him were spared of any dread of not getting him at a decent price and had him months ago.TF-fan kev777 wrote:In any case, I'm waiting out Hasbro Pulse and/or Amazon since I already have free shipping from either of those 2.
Eventually, Groove did become available in wide enough numbers to even be discounted, but that was a year later, when many had moved onto other things. Still everyone who wanted groove at a decent price did get one, but they had to wait a long time and go through the worries of never getting him.
I don't know if people remember feeling that agony. But maybe thats why people don't mind spending 10$ more in total cost to get this figure. It's not a high price to pay to be spared of any worries of when it will be available for cheaper cost for people outside china. Also, this being an exclusive means people outside the states are likely not to get it or cheaper elsewhere since that shipping is what it would cost from any stateside retailer, but I know that doesnt concern you. Just saying how that 10$ extra may not be as significant to others.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I like to put the roof / tail behind them sometimes to mix it up a bit, but it limits leg articulation a lot. For example:Cobotron wrote:Lunatic Prime wrote:What's this pose supposed to resemble? Looks like she's wearing a skirt and holding an imaginary lance.
That's kind of what I was thinking. She sort of has a surcoat, or long jerkin design thing going on in the Sunbow grabs. I think this person was trying to recreate that. Maybe?ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:The configuration at the end of the previous page looks like it's supposed to resemble her cartoon model a bit more.
Edit: Or they were just being weird.

Jeez, I'm a one pose kinda guy
Greenlight is easily my favorite of the mold. Her coloring is tops!Black Hat wrote:carytheone wrote:I like to put the roof / tail behind them sometimes to mix it up a bit, but it limits leg articulation a lot. If you angle the armature for the canopy/"coattails" back a bit you get full articulation whilst still enjoying the reduced backpack/more elegant kibble. Also, Greenlight looks nice in that pic- I was worried she'd look overly simple to Moonracer but she's actually quite distinct.
Oh, and do I spy a BeastBox (the toyline, not the cassetticon) down there?
I don't know much about Sailor Senshi (Sailor Moon I'm guessing? (also clueless)). Do they have elemental powers? Elita's team are colored as such. We already have fire, water, earth and now with Lancer - the power of skittles!Black Hat wrote:And yeah, Greenlight actually looks wonderful. I really hope I can track her down (along with the other members of the team), they look like they'll make a wonderful set- I'm envisioning them as kinda Sailor Senshi robots, what with being very similar in design/"costume" with different colours and minor details.

Add some Battle Beast rubsigns and we'd be good to go

Good call on Megatronia. I'm not sure about Takara, but Hasbro doesn't ever seem to go for that elemental alignment kinda stuff with their Transformers releases, which is a real shame.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:If you know your planets (plus Pluto, but excluding Earth) you know your Sailor Senshi.carytheone wrote:I don't know much about Sailor Senshi (Sailor Moon I'm guessing? They do have that mahou shoujo (magical girl) mojo going, or an all-female Sentai or Power Rangers team. Megatronia did have the "4 Guard" (based on the 4 of a Kind hand, or "4 Card").

If Novastar, Moonracer and Greenlight are fire, water and eaeth respectively, Lancer defualts to wind/air unless you decide to align her with the supreme being
