No quite completely, they do share some parts including pinned leg hinges that are locked in place. At a time when they seem to be trying to remove as much metal from these figures as possible it's strange that Earthrise OP was left with these two vestigial pins.

I feel good about buying the old GDO G2 Megatron toy for this deco, I'm not really a fan of this look on the mold, or really even the mold.

I bet it is this week's reveal.

This mold needs to die, it is not that good imo. But I'm glad people are enjoying all the variations. I just hope the next Megatron we get isn't a tank (unless it's another take on his Armada design)

Yes to both! Like a muscle car that you could partially transform the hood of so his fusion cannon could peek through, allowing him to blast the Autobots.

Or the Fusion cannon doubles as a giant engine, something like this so it would be able to pop up and swivel to become a roof cannon.

Very amusing that Big Bite's got the Bumblebee head but not the actual tooling Bee has. Kinda sucks because it'd go nicely with the eHobby version (IF I HAD ONE)

Not to mention how the original GoBots Bug Bite was also a VW Beetle. kinda defeats the purpose of the name, now.
