No source material required.
I mean, I really like the color scheme, plus I prefer the name Bluestreak for this version cause of the blue sides, in addition to the "talks a lot". Plus, I believe that this was the original color scheme before the one that got used for the cartoon was invented, kinda like the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe color swap
I'm surprised that none of the comics have addressed the "Blue/Silverstreak" situation and just created them as two separate individuals...
I believe Takara did at one point for MP blue Bluestreak, where normal Bluestreak (who I'll call Streak for the sake of clarity) shared a name with the ultra stealthy, borderline mythical, Winter Soldier style Bluestreak, granting Streak a bit of intimidation when fighting Cons, while Silverstreak was an additional Datsun with no relation
Cheers! Is that in the wiki?
Well, I believe it was, but it seems to have vanished... So unfortunatley I can't check my facts or provide a link to it
I hate that when it happens. It almost feels like the internet has gas-lighted me...
Originally, MP blue Bluestreak had his own Wiki page because of some ambiguity in his bio that sort of made him sound like he was his own guy related to the Diaclone universe. But when MP Spin-Out came out his bio mentioned blue Bluestreak and clarified that he was just another form of normal Bluestreak--a sort of alter ego that changes Bluestreak's colors and alters his programming--and so his information was merged into normal Bluestreak's page.
As for MP Silverstreak, his bio was identical to that of normal Bluestreak, just with "Silver" added to his name, meaning he's just a toy-accurate MP of normal Bluestreak meant for collectors who prefer toy-accuracy over show-accuracy.
