I'd be ok with that as well. Unfortunately finding *any* sort of Medix is the real trick... I also read how some were purchasing CW First Aid figures, and stripping of their paint and doing custom paint jobs. Unfortunately I don't have such talents.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics
Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Like I said, a number of them were for sale at last year's RoboCon. Has I known ahead of time I would have told people about it in the RoboCon thread, but I didn't know the extent of what all past Fun Pub samples would be for sale there until I got to the convention.o.supreme wrote:Unfortunately finding *any* sort of Medix is the real trick...

Wait, thats true, Ratchet is a limb you dont have right? That would complete all your combiners.

I actually have UW Ratchet as my standard. I just need the others from BC 2016 (G2, Marvel Comic, SG, and Medix)
G2 and Medix will complete my Modulus. SG will complete my Grand Scourge, and Marvel will replace SG Starscream to complete my Optimus Maximus.
I know it's complicated, but it all looks great on paper

I can respect the plan for 30 entire combiners and teams though!
As of right now, if Lancer happens, I will have 1 spare limb, and considering I have duplicates of some limbs already, I don't really want to get duplicates 3 more times to finish out a team. Maybe once Lancer gets here I'll start tackling some exclusive ones from CW, see if I can't get 3 bonus limbs i don't have any of yet

Re: Transformers Generations SELECTS Series Discussion

So if you are crazy/insane for combiners, like me, here's how you can do it...
Start with all 11
UW Sets
CW Sets = 6 (All 3 G2's, Victorion, Computron*, and LioKaiser)
* (If you are wondering why I have both a UW & CW Computorn, it's because each of the componants is different, thus I have CW Computorn as my *Betatron*)
11+6=17...more than half way there...
PotP Predaking, Volcanicus, Abominus & Orthia adds 4 more were up to 21
BC 2016 Predacus, & Magnaboss (you will need to purchase an additional CW Ironhide, Prowl & Silverbolt to sticker them up with BC 2016 Beast wars stickers)
TFSS 4.0 Thunder Mayhem & 5.0 Wreckage adds 4 more (we are up to 25!)
NOW...It gets hodgepodgey and complicated, but you get to use all those extra limbs and torso's that have no dedicated Team per se....
1. Modulus (As designed, but instead substituting G2 Ratchet, since my original series Ratchet is with Lynx Master)
2. Optimus Maximus (CW Battle Core Optimus, Smokescreen, Alpha Bravo, Marvel Comic Ratchet & Select Series Swoop)
3. Grand Scourge (UW EX Grand Scourge, CW Offroad, BC 2016 SG Ratchet, CW Blastoff & CW Vortex)* Blastoff and Vortex actually have physical differences from the UW Counterparts
4. King Starscream (PotP Starscream, BC 2016 Terrorsuar, TT Golden Lagoon SS *(as Sunstorm), PotP Blackwing & Dreadwind)
5. Inferno (PotP Inferno, Wreck-Gar, Jazz, Ricochet & ???)
So, that brings us to 30
It's not perfect I admit, there's a little fudging in there, based on my personal interpretation of what constitutes a character as truly different, or not. But I'm satisfied, and hopefully one day look forward to seeing this plan through to fruition.

You're going to hate me for this, but technically, you're missing at least one Autobot combiner. Elita Infin1te! She's technically different from Orthia, in much the same way that Betatron is different from Computron. Elita-Infin1te is formed from using any limbs with Elita One as the torso, and Orthia is the specific combination of Elita One as the torso and Moonracer, Firestar, Greenlight, and Lancer as her limbs. Technically, Elita-Infinite could also suggest the use of Moonracer, Firestar, Jazz, and Ricochet, according to the artwork on the PotP boxes. (For that matter, Betatron could use the same components for limbs as Optimus Maximus, according to Scattershot's single release packaging for CW.)

No worries, everyone has different takes. The Only reason why I have a Betatron at all is because The UW & CW Computrons are mostly Unique. In fact I never intended to purchase the single release Scattershot, until Modulus was revealed.
. Because there is only one Elita-1 at this time, I'm ok with only having Orthia, and no Elita Infinite. In the past, when the
legends line was more apt to release unique characters, there may have been a chance to get more unique limbs, perhaps even a different Elita-1. But now with brand unification, it doesn't seem really plausible.
Similiarly, I don't have a CW *Galvatronus*, but I do have UW Grand Galvatron, and I'm OK with that.

I still think the old TFCC was way off base using such a bright orange for G2 Starscream. It should have been more of a salmon-red or pinkish-red than anything orange.

Well it seems like all the usual suspects say March 2019. Using BBTS's normal multiplier, I'd say about September 19th at 9:57 pm.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:So, any guesses as to how much longer it will be before Ricochet and Swoop are actually available?
This could be a fun game, like guessing when a baby will be born. Everyone should make a guess and closest gets admin rights for an hour.

I'm going to guess April 1. It's a Monday, the first day of the new quarter, the day when *supposedly* Siege Wave 2 should be available to mass retail in the U.S.... Yeah I know none of these have any real bearing on Selects, just trying to make things interesting
. Also, even though I pre-ordered from BBTS months ago, I'd love to see if these come available on Hasbro Pulse. If so, then we could kind of gauge that as a reliable source on a future Selects releases.
