Split the difference and make it a DuckTales (1987) × Transformers collaborative toy of the Hindentanic.Emerje wrote:I think there's a pretty slim to none chance of them actually making a figure based on a movie about a real life tragedy. Might as well make a transforming Hindenburg while they're at it.

To be fair, I debated for a good bit whether or not to include that, and ultimately left that part out since we have no official confirmation that any Selects got shuffled/repurposed for certain, just word-of-mouth from leakers about those Beasts and the fact that 2 Clampdown listings existed at one point before the Selects Clampdown seemingly got axed. That second part could be proof that Clampdown got shuffled around, but the year prior we got Deep Cover twice through the exact same release methods, so they may have been planning to do that again and we ultimately just don't know.Emerje wrote:Something he didn't take into account was that the three Walmart Legacy beasts were also supposed to be part of Selects so that's nearly another $75 that didn't get used for Selects in 2022 for what was already their biggest year. Wouldn't surprise me if other 2023 Selects figures were removed to be exclusives elsewhere.
I'm currently guessing that said Deluxe is gonna be that Medix that leaked a few months ago, but who knows if that'll be the case.Emerje wrote:I'm sure they'll holding off on announcing the two we know are coming (Omega Sentinel/Guardian and a Deluxe)
We've got SG Grimlock coming, but we don't know if we're getting a full SG wave to accompany him or not.Emerje wrote:If anything I think we should be seeing more Selects this year since they don't have Shattered Glass as a line this year (as far as we know).

I'll be waiting for more reveals.

SpaceEagle wrote:A new Windsweeper?! That'll be awesome. Not sure if it'll be a new mold or a redeco/retool, but it'd be nice to have something that skews closer to his original look. I have the TFSS from a while back, and while I love that figure (I love the CW jet molds in general) a modern update would be appreciated, much like Crankcase's new figure. Hopefully this means Ruckus will be updated too.
As for the Headmaster - also glad they're still being made as well. It'll probably not have a removable head like Minerva's legacy figure, but a proper modern update for the ones that still don't even have a figure beyond their original ones would be appreciated.

I'm betting Windsweeper will be from the Needlenose mold and doubtful it will have working "trigger" action considering Crankcase didn't. As for Ruckus... I'd say that's a strong possibility since we're getting a Deluxe Beachcomber this year and transformation and mold are basically the same. Of course it'll probably be an Amazon or Target Exclusive and also won't have "trigger" action either. And if we get Ruckus, let's hope Hasbro has plans to eventually give us the Triggerbots: Dogfight, Backstreet, and Override.

What if it's just Nightbeat as a redeco of Minerva hahaha

The Skids/Burn Out/Crankcase/Crosscut/Medix mold isn't built for combining.Till-all-R1 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:This.Bounti76 wrote:Curious to see what mold they'll use for Medix.
Not bad for reuse of Crankcase and I'm tempted to get. That said I'm slightly unnerved they made him before First Aid. lol
I'm guessing he'll be able to take part in forming Defensor? I realize this is Rescue Bots release but Medix was a backup Protectobot.
