I think that's totally valid tbh, everyone's got their preferences!

The original had too much black on it as well. Just because the update is faithful to it doesn't mean it has to be accepted, especially if the original isn't liked for the same reason.Sabrblade wrote:As opposed to...?Razorbeast88 wrote:There's a little too much black

Funny, I bought the original back in the day, and never thought anything of it. Maybe Road Rocket always aimed his light-up pizza-cutter straight at the enemy's crotch.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:The original had too much black on it as well. I find the original's clear JOCKSTRAP to be hilarious.
Makes me want to get him.

Bikers can be ninja.![]()
Pre-orders did open, but they've since sold out. Someone (can't find the original post) posted them right here in the forums.
Road Pig
Thundertron
Emerje
Looks more like an athletic supporter than a jockstrap. Either way, he's an anatomically conscious ninja.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:The original had too much black on it as well. I hate to say it, but the Prowl/Chromia mold would better match Armada Sideways's silhouette.Overcracker wrote:I'd also be all over an Armada Sideways retool of this guy.

I was talking more about the robot mode, which is Sideways's more iconic mode since it's the one that made use of his iconic Headmaster faction-swapping gimmick.Overcracker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I hate to say it, but the Prowl/Chromia mold would better match Armada Sideways's silhouette.Overcracker wrote:I'd also be all over an Armada Sideways retool of this guy.
I'll respectfully disagree.
This guy has all the right beats. Saddle bags, translucent exhausts, long seat back.
He just needs a different front end, and since it's just his foot, it would be an easy retool.
