It would be nice if Blitzwing's tank mode is large enough so that it just about scales with Kup and you can recreate that scene. I doubt it will be of course, I'm expecting Blitzwing to be only slightly bigger than Voyager with extra parts and maybe some complex engineering to justify the Leader price point. But I am clinging to the feint hope that he is a big Leader, Hasbro heard the feedback on Siege Astrotrain and are making another, larger one.

As we've seen though, robot scale matters a lot to hasbro, but would you settle for a Voyager sized bot that expands into a large tank alt?

Exactly. The execution wasn't perfect, but it was still a tour de force.

It is seen briefly in the film, yeah, cause he flies in before the tank bit with Kup, but since he's a Legacy figure and not SS, I doubt they would leave an entire alt mode out because screen accuracy even if that wasn't the case.

Also why would he need to be Leader Class if he wasn't a triple changer? It's not like he's Magnus-sized or something.

Speaking of Blitzwing, a little bit of Leaker Talk Roundup:
Blitzwing:
-Jet mode is most compromised of his three modes, but described as just being due to typical Blitzwing kibble issues
-Comes with classic sword and gun, sword can store on back in bot mode
-Also includes "some missile/gun pods for his tank mode that he can use as 'thrusters' in jet mode, and 'hulk hands' in bot mode" (uncertain if the comma means they are 1 set of accessories with a use in every mode, or if the hulk hands are separate accessories, although this guy had a similar Oxford comma issue before so it's probably all one set of accessories)

Crankcase:
- described as a very WFC-style G1-with-knees update
-Comes with a pistol and a blaster
-Seem to not have the springy gimmick, but currently unknown if he either has manual flip-out guns or if his accessories can be pegged in to simulate the gimmick guns

Exactly, and since Core Iguanus is supposed to have his decidedly non-Earthen motorcycle alt mode, there's molds available for both of those Ransacks, so that doesn't help narrow it down.

I watch it once a year on New Year's Day after midnight, that way it's the 1st program I see every year. But my memory is not that good. I just remember "Come on down, Auto-brat!"

But yes, leader price point would have to guarantee him being a triplechanger, I just hope he will be an improvement over the Titans Return version. That figure wasn't horrible, but each alt mode suffered for the other.

While the word "leak" is thrown out quite a bit, we haven't really had leaks like the ones from the POTP line for a good while. But man, we have one today and it's a big one. Next year,s titan class figure, Metroplex from the Cybertron line has been leaked. This is from a presentation by Hasbro and it is also our first look at the Transformers Legacy logo. He has 3 modes and for and they are very faithful to the original toy (for better or worse). We have a link to the original toy's gallery below.

The MSRP will be $189.99 and has a release date of August 2022.

Also, that alt mode is just plain bad. Metroplex looks like he's someone's prison b!tch

Is it just me or do his hands look…. familiar? Kinda looks like Devastator’s hands. I know they’re not (or at least they shouldn’t be) but… yeah.

Might bite, but then again I’m fine with the original one. All this one’s got over the original is ankle tilts and he’s taller. The original was way fun!

If hasbro wants to save on engineering, I would rather pay for a tripticon scaled to match metroplex, leg fixed.

Not sure who this was for but it’s not for me. The weapon looks nice and it’s cool that it splits but this is otherwise a carbon copy for father original I still have with nothing new added on and no Minicon that we can see. For those that missed out on the original and want a new chair at him, great for you guys though

If that Metroplex dosent disintegrate in transformation like The Ark and have the satisfying clickity-clackytack joints of the original, I'll preorder him day one.
