Transformers Legion Class Strafe and G2 Megatron Found at Retail

Double-Barreled, Armor-Piercing Particle Beam Cann...
Seibertron member Cr33per sent us a nice picture of a couple new legion class figures he found at Big Lots in Yakima, WA. Strafe is a redeco of Beast Hunters Windrazor while G2 Tank Megatron which looks like a re-release of the Universe 2.0 Legends Class Megatron perhaps maybe with a different shade of plastic and paint. Also included with this wave but not pictured is Grimlock which is a redeco of Beast Hunters Legion Rippersnapper. Grimlock sports a different deco than the Walmart exclusive figure that uses the same mold.

Interesting choice to release a new deco of G2 Megatron, but far be it from me to complain, I love Megs' G2 form.

Interesting artwork choices: Megs is using his Legends atwork. Glad to see more Terrorcon fodder!

I hope I can pick up Strafe...all I need is another leg (already have Legion Grimlock) and a repaint of Hun-Grrr and I'll have a repainted Abominus Autobot combiner with Strafe and Divebomb as arms.

I knew about these for a while but...hound and lockdown???? What molds are they using?
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.

I'd have been all over the AOE legions figures because I love Cyberverse stuff, but the fact that they're all repaints of existing figures that look nothing like their movie counterparts made these all an instant pass. I guess they thought they were too small for us to be able to notice the difference.

Hound and Lockdown were on that leaked product list from last year or whenever. Literally no other information has come out about them.
