Courtesy of TAG Hobby, we get a blurry look at some scans of issue 195 of the Figure King magazine, which finally reveals the quite awaited Masterpiece figure MP-22 Ultra Magnus! The figure, a remold of MP-10 Optimus Prime with add-on armour, is shown to be able to carry up to four MP sized cars on its trailer, we get a close-up of its headsculpt. Check out the images below, including a clearer shot, with comparison, of the page courtesy of the TF Upgrader Facebook page.

in my eyes.. this thing is PERFECT.. from it's height difference to MP10 down to the ankle tilts, which i love.. this thing looks PERFECT.
i can't wait. and i LOVE that they've kept the less is more aesthetic with this figure.. there isn't a whole bunch of unnecessary ugly mold detail.
i'm so excited for this.. i'm super excited for bumblebee and wheeljack, but i'm WAY more excited for this.
and i love that it's a parts-former.. rather than what KFC did by going with the titanium route. i hope we see color photos soon.
i hate having to wait for these masterpiece figures. the wait is always too long.

The transformation in the legs is quite different than the G1 figure. The size looks good. I just wish his feet were better defined and the inner lower leg could get covered a bit more.
Does anyone know what is up with the head shot in this picture? Is this showing Convoy's head with the back half of Magnus's helmet?

I dunno what it says, but I'm guessing that the naked magnus head will come with removable parts to be replaced with the actual Magnus helmet, so that pic is of the original head with said parts removed.

Perhaps Magnus will have alternative expressions like MP-21?

I really liked what KFC did with their version and would've been tempted if I hadn't known about this. I'm a huge ultra magnus fan so much so I want to get a G1 encore
I'm pretty glad I didn't get the mp10 as this will fill in nicely all I'm concerned about (besides the price obviously) is its head... looks weird but i'm sure it'll look better once painted. You think they'll be release the magnus parts separately? Or perhaps, could it lead to a powermaster upgrade for mp10s... one can only hope.
Movie Dinos in G1 colours look better i think but that might be nostalgia...
