Oddly enough I DO kinda like him. I definitely feel like he could have been done better, but in general I don’t think he’s all that bad. Beast Mode is easily better looking than his bot mode in my opinion, which is admittedly disappointing, but not a deal breaker for me. My main gripe is probably just how jarring his bit head looks on that clear candy looking red plastic. The juxtaposition of a painted solid plastic head on a clear plastic body is visually dissonant. Maybe if there had been some solid red plastic parts throughout the body, then maybe he’d look more cohesive.
I’d still definitely consider getting him, provided he isn’t stupid expensive.

I know it's supposed to be that way, but I find the blue of the blue helmet to be jarring. It would be a much nicer looking figure if the helmet was red.

It is funny. I have said I will fully support the MP Beast Wars line. Everything from characters I don't like (Airazor, Scorponok, Blackarachnia) to the most obscure redecos (Nightprowler, Packrat, Fractyl etc). BUT unless we get a de-make of the Apelinq redeco via This Mold, I have MP-32 and that is the only Primal I am interested in.

It's starting out to be a feral Friday fellow Seibertronians. As reported yesterday we've got a burning Matrix powered meteor of a special Masterpeice heading our way - MP-38+ Burning Convoy! The article we posted yesterday is now updated with images of Primal's, er, Convoy's beast mode. Mirrored below are all the hot details we brought to you yesterday, now updated with the beast mode images. Enjoy!
Thanks to an unexpected source in the form of Previews World, we now have some new stock photos for the recently announced MP-38+ Burning Convoy!
Burning Convoy is a redeco of the MP-32 mold in a garish translucent red in homage to the original Burning Convoy toy, based on the color Optimus Primal AKA Beast Convoy took when he and Lio Convoy united to defeat Majin Zarak in the Beast Wars II Movie. This redeco is the MP-32 repaint since it does not come with the Mutant Mask that MP-38 did.
This figure is set to be available in March of 2020 for the reasonable price of $111.99. Check out the product description and photos below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
