Jesus Christ. So the guy had a strong opinion and told Amazon. As has been pointed out, I'm sure he's not the only 'whistleblower' and I'm also pretty sure that Amazon would have realised the error themselves and cancelled any orders anyway.

Can we try to put this into perspective? Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? This is a hobby where some (myself included) are quite glad to spend an inordinate amount of money on toys and now they are suddenly frugal? Do me a favour. What the hell is wrong with some people.

For starters, there will NOT be any bashing of any other website or any of it's members.

Secondly, there will also be no threatening of members. If you're going to edit your post, you should probably try putting in an apology as well.

If anyone needs to apologize it is he. I own a Hasbro Masterpiece Optimus, I'm fortunate to be able to afford him and to have found him. I would've liked to own a second to keep in a time capsule or the like and at this price sure why not. But others came across a dream that true, may have never been, whether they couldn't find him, refused to pay scalpers prices or couldn't spring for this guy retail, they had a chance. For this guy to go out of his way to purposely crush that dream, destroy everyone's hope and then rub egg in all their faces... He deserved to be banned from said site, even expelled from here as well. I don't want to be exposed to someone of his stature. He most likely burned bridges in Florida and is currently burning them in Nashville, Tennessee. What? His customs don't keep him busy enough, is Nashville that boring that there's nothing else to do? Next time you find yourself in the same situation, you can't find anything better to do. Do us all a solid and go play with your balls.

Agreed. Hateful posts and bullying is not allowed here for a reason.

So...

The only thing left to do is wait to see how it goes on Amazon.UK and see what will be the real price of the Masterpeice OP.

I sincerly hope that at least, anyone in the world can pre-order one and a limit of 2 per customers should be enforced. This way, the ones who missed out at first would be able to order one. Even people from Québec.
