Ahem...
MPG.
Still, for what that cost, that's not that big of a mistake.

The days of 'cheap' / affordable toys are over. And here I am still holding out for ML Fort Max.
From Hasbro, this may be the case. But it's Takara we're talking about. And if they want to make an expensive figure, they don't dick around with crowdfunding.
Best example is the set of MTG Super Ginrai and God Bomber. Those two together cost me over 800$CAN. That's the same price as my TWO sets of HASLAB Victory Saber.
What I meant was its competing for the consumer dollar. Not everyone has disposable income to be able to indulge. I'm fortunate to have a well paying job, but even still, I cannot justify stretching the budget.
I'd buy Magic The Gathering Super Ginrai crossover.

That's new, but also exciting.
I have every expectation that he will be $250-300 though
¥27,500 full price. Less with preorder discount from the usual Japanese e-tailers.

Thanks.
IIRC, C-01 Convoy (with trailer) was US$120 at Hasbro Pulse. Anyone know how much it was on Amazon Japan back then? Thanks.

Yup! An update of the original Diaclone Powered Buggy accessory to Diaclone Powered Convoy that was omitted from the 1986 Ultra Magnus version:-Kanrabat- wrote:He even comes with a bonus vehicle, who may most likely be from its original Diaclone release.

And now, his name is Deerstalker. He's a detective:

The Battle Beast "Deer Stalker" is known better by Takara as the Beastformer "Big Serow".

Looks like the fists are now integrated with the trailer, at least.-Kanrabat- wrote:So, Magnus will partsform the same way as the original G1 toy. The big head, the chest-plate, the jockstrap (two of them!) and obviously, the weapons. As long that the parts storage is clever, I don't mind.

Oh, I missed that part. Nice and logical. Also, it is the same with the White Prime, who may be a straight repaint of the ML Optimus.

The cab's legs must have been retooled in order to bend forward at the knee, since the legs on Missing Link Convoy can't do that:-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Looks like the fists are now integrated with the trailer, at least.-Kanrabat- wrote:So, Magnus will partsform the same way as the original G1 toy. I just hope it will not cost 8000JPY to ship.
