Translation: Friggin' lame! Pass. Move on, nothing to see here. Sorry gestalt fans, better luck next time.

I hate to use the F word, but I'm really sick of Hasbro's defeatist attitude when it comes to gestalts. "We can't do it".
That just kills virtually all interest I had in Devastator. What's wrong with them. They're even lame enough to blame it on the economy. Sorry Hasbro, excuses are for losers.
This should've been the one kick-ass toy to rule them all. If they'd actually gone for it and pulled it off, it'd be just the thing to make everyone forget about the whole stupid financiapocolypse.
I dunno, maybe I'm overreacting, but considering it's their most expensive combiner ever you don't expect them to take the cop-out route.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
First-Aid wrote:I'm still not sure if that is the actual Dev Supreme package. But to everyone who is naysaying, think of it this way. How complex do we want them to be? Really complex! Make it real! how complex can the TARGET AUDIENCE handle? Not very. Combiners are not complicated for a reason- if they are too complex then they simply are not fun to play with because it takes too long to change them! The G1 Omega Supreme and Jetfire figs are pretty rare...because they didn't sell as well back in the day- they were too complex for the target audience. Maybe Takara will get ahold of these and make a MP type fig, but for the time being, Hasbro did what they could with what they had. I'll cut em some slack on that point. And who knows, maybe we'll see a Premium line Dev...

Tformers even has pictures of the two devastators, the lame stand-up version and the 2-feet "Voltron" version, as well as some of the constructicons:

The difference between the non-transforming Rampage (brrr.... that's not a constructicon name...) and the transforming one is clear.
If someone could make a handheld weapon that became a vertical tail fin for the jet mode, that would be sweet.Supreme Convoy wrote:
