If you wonder the reason why today is Transformers day it's because Walmart apparently said so.

September 17 is when the first episode of the G1 cartoon premiered back in 1984.

Oh, I thought people were complaining that the date was wrong.

So, I have a bunch of new stuff TFOne toyline related, get ready.

first up, I got Alpha Trion and the Quintesson. Quintesson is alright, and B is fantastic. I wish his ankle tilts actually worked and that area was cleaned up some, but he is really nice. I think B may be my favorite of the 5 Prime Changers








I also got the big energon glow Optimus. And I have to say, he is really really fun. I love the translucent parts, and he is basically fully posable, which is impressive. He is just really fun, I would recommend trying him out








My daughter also loves him



Alpha Trion is also a really fun toy






And finally, I got the takara leader figure. He is pretty nice, though there are a couple things that bug me with him. The face sculpt feels off somehow, and I don't like how small the feet are and how limited the ankles are. Other than that, he is pretty nice, especially the truck mode.

Yeah, and literally just those four, the Quintesson High Commander is a "Warrior class" figures because I guess only Autobots can be Prime Changers, which would possibly have disqualified Starscream anyway. Gotta love manufactured hair splitting.

Yes they were

But not everywhere, it was sort of a tossup if a store got both or just one. My local Target only got wave 1, my local Walmart only got Bumblebee as part of the big aisle display (with Optimus, AT and the Quint), I've yet to see a Sentinel at retail, got mine from Amazon.

Been messing around with the Takara Prime some more, and it really is a bummer the shoulders suck and his ankles didn't move more, otherwise he would really be nigh perfect






Also pretty incredible how the mainline Prime ended up being the best one
