I wish he either had a bigger gun in a color that was more neutral to better suit use in both modes, or he came with another gun cast in blue to suit the decepticon mode.

Of course and around the holidays stores tend to print a gift receipt. And if not try and hit the store it came from. They give you credit and send the unopened toy back to the shelves. Ok, so if you guys do have that system in place, i see no issue with returning the rest of that case to Wal-Mart, just imagine your uncle Ben Barnes The Second gave you a bunch you already have. Plus you would help stock the shelves of your department store with POTP toys

Looks great, especially like the way they have done the hands. A few gaps in his legs but they do not look bad in the photos. I should have ordered two

but really glad that I could order it and get it for slightly above retail unlike most other exclusives, I would probably have put rub labels on one of them, definitely going on the shelf next to Scorponok and crew to spy on what ever they are up to.

Looking at these pics makes me want to order a second one so I can have him in his robot modes on both my Autobot and Decepticon Headmaster shelves (I'm sure Hasbro would love that). I would just have to trade guns with someone else for his con mode.

He looks really good, can't wait for mine to show up. That said I wish he had been a mass retail figure just so we could have gotten a Deadlock/Drift retool. Yeah I know Drift is still disliked but you gotta admit that mold would have suited him really well.

He's PotP in name only. He's not a Combiner limb as he's missing the peg, thus does not come with any HFG or Prime Armor piece.

I may have to ask my wife to get both Repugnus and Punch...

The black being a sort of dark speckled almost gun metal gray is an interesting choice. You couldn't tell that from the stock photos and I don't hate it.

I still want to see what's under the faction symbol panels. I'm guessing nothing, it seems like if it were peg holes (or anything else interesting) this person would have taken a photo of that.

Can't wait, only a few more weeks to go!

Oh, no doubt that's what they're for, but we haven't seen any shots of either bot from behind yet to see what's going on there. If there's no peg hole then they really missed the opportunity to at least partially incorporate these into PotP. Ultimately I don't really care, I don't use the Prime Armor like that anyway and wouldn't spare one for him to use, but seems like something they would have done if they had always intended for this to be a PotP mold.

but its also the same configuration as the transformers prime beasthunters cyberverse abominus, almost
