Ooh, there's another thought.
Could you get megs/galvs and bludgeon to share a mold? Both turn into tanks, both (in their bigger forms) have a bit of a samurai armour vibe, complete with helmet...
Retooling needed obviously, but I don't think it'd be impossible

NYCC Hasbro panel...so...we have a fully colored Volcanicon...and them trying to put Divebombs wings on it...(just looking at pics from other sites, I have no idea of context)...???

While the Hasbro staff did not want to reveal too much during their NYCC 2017 panel, it is clear to any fan that the wings they showed belonged to none other than the upcoming Titan Class Predaking. These are part of the Predacon Divebomb and can be removed to place in the back of the combined Predaking. You can see the detailed sculpt of both sides of the wings. John Warden was just having fun with the idea of placing the wings behind Volcanicus for visual effect, there is no word on them actually being able to connect to Volcanicus.

So...nothing new. I know its only the first day of the convention. Hopefully before its over we get to see something, ANYTHING, that hasn't been previously seen yet, even Starscream's combined mode (officially) would be neat.

Also revealed at #NYCC2017 is a painted sample of the Volcanicus combiner! Now you can see him in all his color-y goodness in the pictures below, and in Seibertron's own gallery of the reveal, which you can see by clicking clicking here, or on any of the photos below. Does this whet your appetite for the Dinobot combiner?

yeah I was speaking specifically about the panel, but yeah I just saw some of the display pics online ...That is very satisfactory ;)^

His proportions look a lot better here than before. And, as correctly predicted; he isn't sagging at all compared to his greyscale prototype.

I've seen pics of the preview stuff, it's all looking good! While Volcanicus does look a bit awkward, I still plan on getting all the Dinobots, though I may just display them as regular Dinobots.
Unrelated to POTP, but Trypticon is on the display too, and at this point he's pretty much Schrodinger's toy, I both want and don't want it. :BANG_HEAD:

honestly, these reveals are better than Hascon... Dinobots are great no comparison, but The combined mode in color is better than the prototype they showed earlier.

I don't care about black rodimus, but he is pretty sweet looking too.

Abominus is where it's at this week.

I don't think I'll have Volcanicus in that configuration, swoop looks weird to me as an arm, I'd rather have him as a leg, and thats how I'll probably display him. Just my opinion though. ;)^

Swoops wings really need to be shiny especially when the games depiction that it's supposedly based on has them -unless there is a special chrome set planned some where down the line. Can definitely live with out the combined mode for them.

They're probably just not ready to show off even a uncoloured prototype yet.

So we're finally going to get the Dinobots ... with the added bonus of them being able to combine ...
But now Predaking will tower over the Dinobot combiner, as will the Predacons over the Dinobots. Come on Hasbro! If ever there were two sets of figures that should be a similar size, it's the Dinobots and the Predacons. :BANG_HEAD:
