Madeus Prime wrote:Guys...the rest of the Prime Masters after Megatronus, Solus, and Quintus aren't seeing individual release, are they?
starrhero wrote:So, any idea on what this version of Primal's name should be? are we going to stick with OpOp, call him just Optimus Primal, or something else? We can't call him Primal Prime, as he doesn't share the same colors.
Eh, I'm just going to call him Optimal Primal & pray to Primus (or in this case, Primal) that I can get him.
RustedCross wrote:Wait....if there are 15 symbols (that we may or may not get), are they suggesting there are 15 Primes?
I'm so confused.

Highly unlikely.
Randomhero wrote:Caelus wrote:Then the Power of the Primes line would have actually included all of the Primes, with the Prime Masters being their included relics. It wouldn't have been impossibly costly to do the Thirteen either. Optimus is always on the docket. PotP Alpha Trion could have been a recolor of TR Alpha Trion, PotP Vector Prime could have been a re-release of Cybertron Vector Prime with a cyberkey retooled to hold his Prime Master.
True but I don’t think you’re gonna convince anyone to buy a 13 year old mold of Vector prime now. No matter how you retool him he was a shelfwarner.

I figured that had more to do with market saturation. I love that toy. Though it was one of the few figures I've taken a paint brush to.

To think that for months now they've been trying to get kids excited about collecting all 12 Primes, only to make the final 3 + 1 nearly impossible to get. I can't even begin to understand the logic there.

That's John "not in the budget" Warden for you.
As much as I love and want the Throne of the Primes set, I'll admit that it stinks of "Let's just stuff everything we don't have time to release into this exclusive set so it's out of the way". It's clear that Power of the Primes was supposed to last longer than it has, I'm guessing the Hasbro higher-ups ordered for it to be cut short, along with the IDW comic continuity, so there could be a back-to-basics relaunch in 2019.

*edit*
(July 17, looked it up for those like me who had no idea...)

He must be excited and tight in the pants to be designing a line with yet another Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee and all-the-characters-everyone-already-has. Well except Ironhide and Ratchet but given Hasbro's track record watch them either not release them alongside '84 bots or making one of the two an exclusive.![]()
**** Warden.

I mean, I get where you are coming from, I dobt need another Prime or Bee. (Still waiting on a Good Megs, the Blitzeing pretool is close though) but these are the Main Core. You dont sell Avengers toys without Cap and Iron Man. You dont lunch a Star Wars Line without Luke Leia and Han. You have to have Prime acknowledged. And despite that, this Brand Team still bothered to reach in and pull out 86 and 87 era guys. Be honest, did you ever think you woulda seen Krok in the main line? Misfire? Slugslinger? Yeah, we got another Bee too, but I say its a worthwhile trade off.

Not from what I've seen, but how much was old Nemesis? I'm assuming he's around $60, but I'm probably wrong.
He's probably more...

But the torso mode is solid, the colors and sculp are pretty nice, the joints are tight, and it was fun to transform. Sure, She's not the "toy of the year", but for a transformers, Elita-1 do the job perfectly.
