Man, Wave 4 is showing up in some places and I've only seen one store in my area with wave 3. Still haven't scored a single Vehicon. I did pick up Hot Shot the other day, though. MAN does he make that mold shine.

Thanks to my lovely wife and a gift card, I snagged Airachnid, Dead End, and the new Bumblebee figure.

Yeah, that's right. There's one less Bumblebee on the shelves.

Went to my local Y'All-Mart hunting for Dead End, Airachnid, or a Vehicon. Found none of those, but got a Cyberverse Starhammer and Energon Driller as consolation prizes.

Got Airachnid today. I don't care if she transforms again or not, those "arms" are getting replaced and that stupid chair removed ASAP. It's awful as it stands out of the box. :BOOM:

Pretty much went to Target looking for Knock Out or Vehicon and ended up getting DOTM "Movie Trilogy Series" Deluxe Prime w/ Trailer on clearance instead. So I went over to my local Wal-Mart in hopes to find them, and had no luck, but instead picked up Deluxe Hot Shot and Cyberverse Knock Out w/ Energon Driller.

I return home with $50 gone from mah wallet and 3 boxes to open. Oh dear...

Have to agree, Arachnid is not quite what I would hope in a fig, arm articulation is the pits…actually, articulation in general stinks.

Arcee's arms will work with some modding. A guy on TFW (Tcracker) did his that way and it's so much better even though the alt is heavily hurt. I'd much rather have a better bot mode considering we've seen the heli mode like two times tops IIRC. Heli is spot on though besides the blades. They got that right at least. :APPLAUSE:

I wish they could've done better but guess they can't all be great.

I think they should have taken more time to possibly make her a triple changer….although that may be tough to pull off…hate the bot mode. I tell you what though….the Dead End is friggin awesome! I never buy repaints…but between the paint apps and piping, I would have chosen him over Wheeljack any given day. He looks like a wicked exclusive fig.

He really is. It's surprising the repaint (Dead End) is the star of this wave. Takara Breakdown coming soon will wash the Airachnid funk off for me. I am impressed with how well he turned out.

I was actually about to buy Wheeljack when Dead End was announced, haha. I'm perfectly comfortable skipping him, as I don't like to buy repaints. Plus, there's a Marlboro decoed Legion Wheeljack slated for release, and I've long since decided I'm just going to go the cyberverse route to collect the cast with a few Deluxes or Voyagers I really like, like voyager Optimus and I'll probably pick up deluxe Arcee at some point.

After striking out on my toy run tonight, I ordered the Drill and Starhammer from hasbro, and bought Am-12 Breakdown from and ebay seller in Japan.

I haven't updated this post in a while so I am not sure where I left off.

I am well into my Prime FE and RID collection now.

Voyagers:
Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, Bulkhead, and (AM-12 Breakdown is on his way)

FE Deluxes:
Arcee, Starscream, Bumblebee, entertainment pck Optimus, entertainment pck Megatron, Arcee & Bumblebee NYCC.

RID Deluxes:
Cliffjumper, Ratchet, Wheeljack, Vehicon (3), Soundwave, Knockout. (2 Takara Jet Vehicons on the way)

RID Cyberverse Commander:
Bulkhead, Ironhide, Megatron, Dreadwing.

Now I am just waiting on some more Voyagers coming out and a couple of Deluxes. After that I will be focusing on FOC.

I still want the Starhammer with Wheeljack, but after looking at it, not all that impressed, really. I went for the shortpack, first. I think the Starhammer will be a big shelfwarmer, honestly.

Oh, and even though it's out of scale, the PRID and FE Vehicons can stand in the cockpit and touch the controls. How neat is that?!

Got another Airachnid and you can pull of a decent spider mode with two sets of propellers. You actually need two Airachnids plus an Arcee (to hack up for new arms) to come out with one decent (-ish) figure. Pretty slick Hasbro........

Amen. I saw Knock Out once here in the Palm Beaches but I didn't have money for him, and he's gone the next day. And guess what; that was May 20th. I haven't seen him in what will be 2 months. The only Wave 3 figure I've seen since then is Hot Shot, and I already have him >_>.
