Thanks to me putting slices of leftover pizza in the freezer instead of the fridge, my wife cracked one of her nails when trying to try them apart. :oops:

Off to The Hague again for a quick fix, and ran into a Sinterklaas parade afterwards. I even got a present from the saint himself. Ok, I bought it myself

Prime Dead End

Yes, Prime Deluxe Waves 3 and 4 have hit the Netherlands, as well as Commander Wave 2 with Skyquake. I saw them last week, with Dead End, Knock Out and Airachnid, but only saw a single Dead End today.

Just ordered AM Smokescreen since I apparently hate my wallet and need to have all the show toys. Still on the fence about Nemesis Prime.

I order on e-bay if I miss it on BBTS. The prices are reasonable and many offer free overseas shipping for basic shipments. And many of these places have gotten me import games in the past.

I'm also afraid to order from TF Source since I would either buy TFC's Hercules or pre-order the Fansproject's warbug dudes. I'm a scary impulse buyer.

Whoever was talking about ALDI having hard to find figures was right! Walked in one of my local ones and they had two display boxes willed with Vehicon, Airachnid, Dead End, Ratchet and Knock out. Not a BB to be seen...

Last I read Hellflame Gul will be made available again on December 1st, to compliment Shining Gra B and Terrorcon Zori, all AEON exclusives. The three form the Solar Ion Arrow Super Combo Weapon, with Ion Energon Crystals.

Got AM Jet Vehicon yesterday. Great stuff! Apart from the pink he's great. He seems to have better leg articulation than the Car Vehicon.

Very. I especially like Megatron's jet mode. The 'bots are definitely not one for scale, but they're really good (Megatron more so than Optimus).

The primary reason I got this is for the figurines of the three children, which would be perfectly accurate if Miko had the "alien" on her shirt with a little more pink streaks in her hair. Also, I would've preferred Raf had better painted shoes and Jack have painted shoes period, but that's just being too nit-picky.

Regardless, this set was definitely worth the 34 bucks. Definitely glad I looked at their Transformers inventory one more time before leaving, as I missed it the first time around. T'was the last one.

The kids are really the selling point of the entire set, and they are fantastic. They molded insane amounts of detail on the figurines. The paint apps are actually quite good for such a small scale. (I can't understand why larger figures have such derpy paint apps...)

Their heads turn, but I wouldn't risk Miko's. Mine, like several others, has a neck that's too tight and the head wants to tear off, literally.

Hard to believe that it's nearly a year since I started this thread

In that time I've been a really big fan of the Prime line, faults and all. From the ping-pong decision making over the FE's, thru to the spotty distribution of the main line (I'm looking at you Vehicon!), the aesthetic has really captured me.

From a collectors standpoint, Hasbro and Takara have really taken this line in two different direction. No longer do we just have to choose if we want metallic paint or not, but if we want a Mini-con or not and the number of Takara only paint schemes is well into double figures now.

I love the Arms Microns, I can see why people don't like the sticker sheets, but one fans Armada Sideswipe is another fans Masterpiece Convoy. I couldn't afford to buy AM over the Hasbro editions, so I figured since the Microns were pricey, I might as well make it worth while. With that thought I tried to collect as many "campaign" Microns as I could, to make a really interesting compliment to my PRID collection.

To date Takara have released no less than 26 promotional Microns so far :shock:

Those of you that have followed some of my posts will have seen that I have managed to acquire a fair few, with only two sub-sets having eluded me so far....

This morning the postman arrived with my latest purchase, a Micron I had dismissed as being made of unobtanium and that I didn't think I would even see for sale, let alone buy.

My Christmas present to myself is Lucky Draw Golden Hades :DANCE:

I like to finish this post by saying a big "Thank you" to Jelze Gold rabbit for her encyclopedic and invaluable knowledge of Microns. She really has spurred me on to look up some items I didn't even know existed, leading me to find the ones I had been searching for. My hat is well and truly off to her :BOWDOWN:
