His transformation is almost exactly like his deluxe version....

Also, skyquake/dread's bayonet howitzer looks friggin sweet strapped to Soundwave's back. i'm thinking a lightweight aircraft like hos altmode he can only fire it ONCE, but it looks cool. I want one... In Delixe.

I'll be more excited for this when we see colored pics. I don't want him in the Beast Hunters Deluxe's gross color scheme.

Still, glad to have a Soundwave in Cyberverse. With Hardshell too I can finally recreate the scene from Hurt where Megs reminds us Soundwave is the only competent one.

For someone who does not collect Cyberverse figures, this news of getting more and more of them is just as bad as... KRE-O news.. or battle-smasher-whatever-crappers... Just less shelf space for what really matters... Generations/classics scouts/deluxe/voyager/leaders/etc.

For those who don't like Legions... just remember, the Legion Soundwave here would be the proper scale for a modern military drone, if you're concerned about scale and don't care about it being "Soundwave"

looks like a good figure but i refuse to call it soundwave, alt mode fits the character but the robot mode doesnt. Legions are pretty much the only figure class i collect now so ill probably pick it up, unless the coloring is horrible.

Finally!

After Legion Arachnid and Commander Hardshell, this is pretty much the last Decepticon to complete the Cyberverse Decepticon line.

I'm into these smaller figures to decorate my work stations. Argh, this will take forver to reach South East Asian. Looking forward to it though. Looks like there's an elbow joint, hope there's a knee joint too.

I can't wait to see this thing in color tooo, but honestly? It's a nice-enough looking mold and seems to have above-average articulation for a Cyberverse Lrgion figure, and Prime Soundwave is just awesome in general as a character, so I doubt very much that there's a color scheme that would turn me off this figure. Hell, I think I'd probably buy it if it were the same shade of gray as the instructions.

I don't find the BH Deluxe version's color sceme that bad, but since the sculpt seems to be based on the normal version of Soundwave and not the "biting Lockdown's style" version, I'd be surprised if the colors weren't Soundwave's normal colors too.

Speaking as someone who's using Legion Arcee instead of her deluxe figure...

No, its really not. The MQ1 Predator is a tiny aircraft and the Legion figure would scale well next to a Deluxe Screamer, later models like the MQ4 GlobalHawk is much closer to a full size aircraft. Also, the MQ1, while much thinner, is still ten feet longer thanan average car. Soundwave is a mixed bag; he's got the leaner body of the Pred, but he's a jet and has the mich more pronounced radard dome of the zflobal Hawk and I think looks better as a deluxe. Also, if you strap a cannon to his roof, he has the air intake that the Global Hawk has dor its engine.

Edit: forgot about the MQ9. But even still, he's 36ft long, a cR is about 15, so compared to autobots like Bumblebee or Arcee, a legion would be too small in vehicle mode.
