Your right, it is what some adult fans have wanted, clamoured for, complained about, whinged, whined and bitched about for ages. But it's not simply a matter of a show-by-numbers, add a table spoonful of Cullen, a pinch of Welker, those guys from the live action movie for taste, whisk vigorously until thick and creamy, done right? The recipe for a perfect Transformers series? Maybe they haven't whisked it enough, I'm not saying that I hate it and it sucks, but it just smells to me like it's been made by committee, I'm sure most shows are, but beyond the initial phase of menu style selection of production people etc, theres a creative process, and thats where a show either becomes great, average or lame, it's the same for any production of any type, comic, website, movie, tv series etc.
I guess none of us who've followed Transformers for any length of time should be surprised, the tv series' all the way back to G1 have always lacked cohesion, have been rush jobs etc, I guess the current generation of kids will look back on TF:Prime with warm thoughts as I do G1, despite it's issues us old folk have now.
Don't crucify me for having an opinion, I know I just compared G1 to TF:Prime. Don't hurt me![]()

I love how in Kurtzman and Orci's world "cut the hard line" = solution to all problems.
Movie + Animated = Epic...fail.
