Collection.org has gotten a hold of prototype images of the upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Megatron. As you can see in the images mirrored below he's a remold of the existing Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Voyager Megatron with new seemingly aquatic sculpting.

Mindless and honorable. The perfect couple.

But I wonder why they're going for this gimmick? Well, it isn't like we've seen any underwater missions before...

So they'll be continuing this turd? Ouch. And, as an insult to injury, the weapon became bigger. My PRID Megs can't hold his blaster up as it is. A bigger gun will do miracles.

BTW, the head/chest looks like Skalor. Maybe his alt. mode will end up like Seawing?

Ugh, gawd that's awful. So much for my hope we'd get a voyager re-release with a PROPER metallic scheme just to fill the shelf space. Instead we get a giant "gun"," with free robot-shark-space-boat turd accessory.

Actually that's what so unfortunate - the non-BH toys are on average really good! Unique character shapes, solid vehicle designs, almost organic in their posability. Granted Megs has always been an exception in the "solid vehicles" department.

The only thing "good" about this toy is that it's, at the very least, better than "Tote bag" Beast Hunter Optimus Prime.

And rather ironically it jumps the shark. Removable weapons and armour are one thing, but hardwiring the armour into megs jumps the sharp to the point where the series is trying to be BW, but trying to not be BW (as opposed to a redux of the Dinobot Hunt premise), and really changes the tone of things for the worse.

Apart from the gun(only cos it's too big) and shoulder fans i like it the chest looks mint but i expect them to ruin it with a nasty paint scheme :BANG_HEAD:

I must be the only one that wants this. I think it looks pretty cool!

Obviously, except for the weapon. The weapon is shite... But, other than the Star Saber, and Shockwave, ALL The Beast Hunter Weapons have been shite. In fact, go back to the RiD Prime figures, and half of those were even crap.

I hope the color changes, but I think this is cool.

Those aren't his final colors. This is a prototype, so the colors don't matter.

What are you talking about? How is this any different from the toys of Bumblebee, Soundwave, Wheeljack, Ratchet, Arcee, and Knock Out?

I too want this guy. I'm certain his official colors will be better, though I love how the plastic is evocative of the Seacons.
