Great news for Canadian fans, Cybertron.CA is reporting the highly anticipated Transformers Prime First Edition figures are starting to appear at retail! The Entertainment pack featuring Deluxe Class versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron, a DVD, and mini-figures of Jack, Raf, and Miko as well as the Deluxe wave consisting of Arcee, Bumblebee, and Starscream have started to turn up at Toys"R"Us in Ontario. You mean there is something else other than movie deluxe Optimus Prime and Bumblebee? That's all that's been on Walmart's shelves here for the past few months, and I don't have a TRU to visit..

That's not what they said. Here's what they ACTUALLY said: "This ‘First Edition’ line is a specialty market exclusive with limited distribution."

We don't know WHAT that means, exactly, but it almost certainly does NOT mean "TF Prime figures will not be sold at retail stores."

Yes and no.

They specifically said Wal-Mart, Target and K-Mart. (Not in that order, but those stores.) They are retail stores and will not be carrying them. Toys R Us sells at retail level due to being a B&M store, but they are a specialty company. A manager can better clarify this distinction. Bottom line, the reason BBTS didn't mention TRU is that they are full of crap and they're milking for all it's worth.

Look at the full message. No mention of TRU anywhere, which is suspect. Releasing them in Canadian TRUs, which goes against their entire email. Once we get a UPC, we can confirm one way or the other, once and for all.

man, the last transformer i bought was human alliance leadfoot, which was a while ago.. it'll be nice to finally see something new on the shelf, buy it, and open it.

hopefully we'll see these within the next week or so, though i doubt it. hopefully we won't have to wait another month or two.

According to a couple of posts on TFW, the Entertainment Pack has an active UPC and SKN in the US system.

UPC: 6 53569 67542 6
SKN: 757352
Price: $29.99

Starscream and Bumblebee's UPCs were listed as well, but apparently are a no show in their system. Those numbers are the following...

Bumblebee: 6 53569 68703 0
Starscream: 6 53569 68702 3

So, in case anyone's worried or wondering, TRU is going to carry these. BBTS is not the only game in town. Plus, TRU has layaway, which is an added bonus.

Woot! Just picked up wave 1 from my local TRU today. So it seems TRU is definetly getting them. Hard to say how many they will get in total though. Some TRUs have already sold out of them and when I went to mine they only had 1 each of RC and SS left (there were like, 8 BB however) hopefully they will not be like Animated Arcee and they will get enough stock so everyone has a good shot at it. Good luck on the hunt everyone

Called my TRU, they have em in a warehouse somewhere but so far no one in the Chicago area has em yet :/ But he did say they get four trucks a week, so my hopes are high

Lol. I'm sure they've had 'em in their warehouses for a while now. I'd imagine big companies would want to stockpile them before their release. One can hope it's this week though!
