I have a thought, hopefully someone here will read it and take it seriously;
At the end of the day, are Hasbro and Takara essentially the same company? Like if Hasbro makes good profit on a toy, do takara still financialy benefit, and vice versa? (I may sound thick, but I see this as a valid question

)
If so, I have a theory as to a dirty little game they may be playing:
Drum up hype and appetite for FE figures in the west...then cancel them so we all say 'F***k you hasbro, I'm giving Takara my money' For shiny MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE Japanese imports.
Hows that sound? I only think of this because just yesterday I was reading about a problem with anime Blue-Rays. Japan now puts at least a 10 month cap on U.S blue ray releases, because Japanese buyers wised up to how an american release was cheaper for more product. It may be (essentialy) the reverse of what I'm suggesting about the FE figs...but it did give me a new perspective about the games this lot play behind our backs.
I for one, am starting to get concerned about this hobby of mine. Do I really NEED to pay £30-50 for a voyager class toy? IS giving Takara my money showing Hasbro the finger?
Surely I'm only screwing myself over with my own obsessive need to own a toy?
£15-20 from a local toy store peg, sure, why not. I am a collector after all, but this kind of money and insanity for a standard release toy? This isn't the MP line, or a special bot-con set.
I may like the look of the FE figs...but if this is just some ugly trap concocted by the 2 companies, then I think I'll save my money and secure a small victory...
